@@taehyungscurlyhairp5503 So what i was doing wrong is the side where i wasn’t decreasing. Basically you do your first row just like she did at the end chain 3 and turn your work. For the second row she started on the right to decrease in the first box so yarn over go in the first stitch then go in mesh yarn over pull through 3 and then pull through 2. Keep going after the first box chaining 2, going in mesh and double crochet. Before the last box at the end of the row 2 chain 3 and go IN the 3rd stitch and not in the mesh and double crochet, then chain 3 turn your work yarn over and go in mesh and you did the first box of row 3. Once you reach the end of row 3 just before the last box u need to decrease in reverse, chain 3, yarn over, go in mesh, go in the stitch, yarn over pull through 3 and then pull through 2. U finished row 3 now chain 3 turn your work and do a decrease to start row 4 (y.o go in stitch, go in mesh, y.o pull through 3 then 2) keep going the rest of the row with chain 2 and d.c. Once you reach the end of row 4 you will see a box left and a little space after, what i was doing wrong is working on that space, you instead need to do just like before so chain 3 y.o and go in the third stitch and do a double crochet from then chain 3 turn your work and go in mesh until you have to decrease again at the end of the row. If u can’t still understand there’s another fix. You can do a bigger mesh at the start and that will shorten the work. So when creating the first row instead of chaining 3 at the start and skipping 2 stitches you can chain 4, skip 3 and then chain 3 for the rest and this will give you a bigger mesh making it shorter without understating the whole process wrote above but simply doing what you were doing previously. Sorry for the long explanation but i wanted to make it clear 😭

You can’t get the top made, sorry to hear that but this isn’t a beginner friendly video , I created a top and made this pattern on my own and decided to share a FEW ways to make it for free … mine you I’m not being paid a cent , I know I did something right because most people did get this top made from my pattern so it’s not all bad but you’re welcome to making your own pattern and making your own in depth tutorial ! 🫶🏽🫶🏽

Decreasing method ! Yarn over, insert into the first stitch , pull through wth yarn still on hook, insert into the next stitch , pull through with yarn still on hook and then pull through, yarn over , pull through 2 ONLY , yarn over pull through the last 2

hiii! reading the comments I found that the decrease is only on the side where you want to be bigger! in each career you make two decreases, until you get to just one.

for mine, I single crocheted instead and started decreasing on row 2. single crocheting does give you smaller holes but it does decrease a lot faster!

I figured it out gang!! I had to watch it over a bunch and do my own trial and error but before you get to the last square/space (on the side you're decreasing) yarn over, go into the space, pull up, go into the next CHAIN, not space, pull up, yarn over and go through 3 then yarn over go in the last 2. When you turn do the same thing but in reverse.

I waited until after the 4th row! but i would recomend if you made a bigger bust size start to decrrease on row 3 or row 2.

yes ! but i recommend making it a little smaller just so it's not too slack! -- edit: that's if you want a full, wrap around bandeau, if you want it to be a string back then maybe half or 2/3rds of the bust measurement!

@@lunadicenta5522 hey ! I’m sorry , choose which side you’d like the slant to me for me it was the right side , so I only deceased on the right side every row ! But instead of going through the bigger holes I went through the top stitches only !

your tension is probably off (i have the same problem whenever i crochet, i’m still a beginner)

Love those colours ! Honestly I would do the tube top part two colours and on the last row start the 3rd colour and let it drag on to the mesh part and let that be be one big colour and then whatever colour you did for the 2nd colour I’d make that the colour for the detailing so (strings etc )
