There really are some deep-seated issues with funny women's psyches to make them go under the plastic surgeon's knife over and over... her, Joan Rivers, Phyllis Diller, Totie Fields, Roseanne Barr, etc. You don't see funny men making their faces over...

You gotta love how Carol is trying to figure just what the heck Tim is telling her. You can literally see her saying to herself, "What the hell, this is not wat we rehearsed, what's going on?"

This era in tv we will likely never see again. This was back when everybody watched the same shows regardless of race, politics, age etc. and they got 30 to 40 million viewers a week! Carol Burnett, late night talk shows like Carson, Letterman, Leno, Arsenio etc. Great sitcoms, sketch comedy shows and dramas. They were at the golden ages in the 60s, 70s, 80s and 90s.

I met Carol twenty years ago and my wife just met her last year. We were both flabbergasted and star-struck. Difference is, I gibbered like an idiot and that was about it, and my wife got to spend a whole day with her, mostly one-on-one, hanging out and getting to know each other. D’oh!!
