Oh wow, I just had a huge memory flashback when I saw that twirling CBS "SPECIAL" logo. That takes me back! I remember being glued to the screen every time I saw that as a kid and I knew I'd be watching something exciting, special, and entertaining...and was never disappointed.

I forgot how is started... I have to ask my mom she knows... but I do know that for the real Tarzan yell on the movie they had to use like for three or four people just to do it and when Carol Burnett showed that she could do it in one, that it was very crazy exciting for everyone...

Wow - Carol sure had a lot of work done on her face over the years. There really are some deep-seated issues with funny women's psyches to make them go under the plastic surgeon's knife over and over... her, Joan Rivers, Phyllis Diller, Totie Fields, Roseanne Barr, etc. You don't see funny men making their faces over...
