did u mean that omnidrectional antennas' polarization depends on their orientation? for directional antennas, it depends on their geometry more than their orientation... like w whip antenna is a monopole (omni) and its polarization depends on its orientation. This topic has bee confusing to me, I thought I understood it but now I am more confused after hearing u say the opposite.... please explain.

Thank you so much for this course, it was very helpful introduction/explanation on signal tx/Rx Especially the explanation of dB calculations I only wish you did additional course on the more advanced stuff(which I dont know what is at the moment :) )

Thanks so much for clarifying this. I install tv antennas with my dad and we use a signal strength meter to help dial in the direction we need to point the antenna to get the best signal. I've wondered for a while why the DBm is always a negative value and now it makes sense
