While this is a not the nazi zionist stance you are still adopting a lot of their views, its like you show up when a criminal is being served a sentence and you feel bad for them because you chose to be blind to their crimes. First to condemn someone you need to know what they did and what made them do it. So far no one can claim they know what exactly happened on Oct 7. What we know so far is that the main target was the Gaza squad which already had a lot of blood on their hands. What you don't know is that the plan to ethnically cleanse Gaza has been in the works for decades, in 2021 and after years of preparing Sinai to take Palestinians, the Egyptian zionist agent El Sisi offered part of Sinai so that the nazi zionist takes Gaza and the oil within its waters and the Neten yaho map in the UN 2 weeks before Oct 7 is proof. So just like the nazi zionist terrorists claim the Arabs were going to attack them so that is why they launched the 6 day war, Hamas was fed up being on the defensive all the time and knew they are sitting ducks thus had to act. Notes: 1. 15:05 the outfit is for protection as they have more humanity in them than you will ever understand 2. 15:22 Resistance fighters will never shoot or bang the heads of a boy or a girl, they only go after nazi zionist terrorists 3. The nazis keep asking this condemn question because they don't accept that humans are equal, to them it's okay to occupy, colonize and ruin the lives of generations and if anyone dare take a swipe at them then that is terror, if you try to list their crimes they shrug it 4. The nazis think this is a trick question because if you say No then they follow up with so you support terrorists when in fact they are the real terrorists 5. The nazis will repeat many lies like rape, so during a few hours of battle they decided to rape but during a 50 days being hostages no one touched them?? 6. There are two main groups of people, those who benefit from zionist evil actions (directly or indirectly) and of course these are just racist nazis, and those that their lives were ruined by the nazi zionists and of course they understand the resistance better than anyone 7. There are some people like this Shapiro who have some humanity in them, and for that I salute you, but are not connected so they dance on the fence Finally do a video on the questions: does Israel have the right to defend itself and does Israel have the right to exist

Thank you, Jay, for this wonderful philosophical analysis of the question. I can assure you that your answer is complete. As a Palestinian, I understand what Nimr goes through and what he thinks about if he were to join the resistance. That boy is no typical child like the ones you see in the West. While in captivity, he was thinking about feeding his younger sister-this boy is more of a man than one might think. In fact, most Palestinian boys are, and this is a result of the situation they were born into. Let me assure you, the moment he becomes a fighter, he will only seek victory, and victory doesn’t come from harming the innocent. He knows that very well and doesn’t wish to make innocents suffer as he has suffered. Fighters in the H group have shown humanity on multiple occasions with the captives they took. We all heard their testimonies in the past few months following the truce in November of last year. These young men just want to liberate themselves; the only vengeance they seek is from the combatants, not the people collectively.

You have taken the wrong meaning of the word condemn. In this context it simply means expressing strong disapproval. And anyone who values human life irrespective of what side they are on should condemn Hamas as well as what Israel is doing to innocent lives.

Great show. Thanks Jay. Forgiveness is the key to diplomacy. Apologies are powerful An apology is the first step in forgiving yourself and forgiving others. Apologies are powerful. How often do you hear those two lines? Often in our society we think of apologies as a sign of weakness. “Never say you’re sorry. “ How many times of you heard that? I say that an apology can level the playing field. It can defuse an explosive situation like a magic incantation. Ultimately, it allows others to see and hear that you can take responsibility for your actions. And the most beautiful side effect? You can forgive yourself for carrying around that burden in the first place. Powerful Healing is a matter of time and forgiveness. But it is also a matter of great opportunity. Let it go. Apologize. Unburden. Communicate

Thank you; so well put. There was an investigation, sometimes in the 90's or 2000's to see just what makes suicide bombers tick. Israeli psychologists interviewed people who had known or been around suicide bombers. There findings indicated that they almost invariably had been people who had lost family members or more often, their ENTIRE family. Mostly, these people had become "little Samsons", determined - right or wrong - in their extreme existential trauma to bring as many of "the enemy" with them as they could.. So, in view of this, the present "leadership" seem dead set on sewing an entirely NEW crop of "dragons teeth" to be contended with further on down the road. Are they any wiser than Armstrong Custer?

Nemir did not say he wanted to avenge himself on random Israelis. He wants to avenge himself specifically, on the soldier who brutalized and humiliated him. I think this is important to observe. The more condemnable party is the one who both harms directly, and then twists the psyche of their victim through their infliction of harm and degradation. Even Jesus, for those who call themselves Christian, tells followers that to ruin the innocence of any is condemnable (ie., “a stone hung around his neck and thrown into the sea”).

I hear you. It's my linguistic preference to condemn persons rather than parties or groups etc... And yes I know what Nemr said, but if that soldier is not in front of him, it is possible that his justified anger and hatred will transfer to others. spend some time with the history of the native americans and you'll see a lot of difficult questions like this one.

Interesting that he takes the example of being woke as being aware that “what your boss wants is not what’s good for you”. In a world where the most active real-work manifestation of wokeness is in corporate reeducation programs used to bully employees into submission, what does that say about the self-awareness of this woke advocate? EDIT: ok so he does mention the capture of wokeness by corporations. He doesn’t go as far as drawing any questions about a potential woke grift, and that this could be the main source of its cultural energy, and instead puts the blame on capitalism. But what does it say about a movement that it gets so perfectly adopted by capitalist corporations? Surely that’s an interesting question. Socialism, and basically working class politics don’t seem to be co-opted so well. On the contrary, wokeness is precisely the thing that obfuscates these class and labour questions. There are reason why the labour questions are “not discussed nearly enough in the woke conversation”. I think it’s worth wondering whether that not the entire purpose of why this movement exists as something that everybody can painlessly subscribe to, especially in society’s aspiring managerial class.
@vfwh

Post modern boogyman, that “they want a 6ft4 man play with your middle school daughter”? What I hear is more of a strawman of the “anti-woke” position here, especially by the method of obfuscating the reality of what’s being opposed. There are activists, who have literally succeeded in a very short amount of time, at putting “only” a 5’9” dude who’s been training for 3 months in a position where they can win the trophies that your daughter has been training to win for the past 10 years. That has actually happened, it’s not a right-wing fantasy. It’s the real world, in the realm that makes up 90% of some people’s enjoyment of life. We can have a discussion about how right, fair, just it is and so on. But let’s not pretend it hasn’t happened….

I was 4 years old in Rwanda when the genocide took place.. I lost everyone except my mum, And I remember before the genocide I wanted to be a doctor or a priest, immediately after the genocide all I wanted was to join the Army so I can find people responsible for killing my siblings and injuring my mum. I wanted this for a long time but luckily I was able to leave that environment and live in the UK where I was allowed to grow and play and feel safe. I stopped feeling the urge to join the army and my Drive to help people returned and it what I now do.

I thought it was safe because surely zio nists would never attempt any serious discussion about Ha mas or Palestinians and Palestine in general. And most importantly I thought it was safe because my eyes were already puffy from crying them out last night and yesterday's morning and the helpless on and off crying I've been doing for the past 8 months. I said to myself that could be potentially informative and not so heartbreaking at the same time but then Nemr's tears found their way to me and broke me again.

This was eloquently argued. I would answer "I don't condemn Hamas because they, alongside all Palestinians are already condemned for the last 56 years to live in a brutal military occupation, so what you're really asking me is to condemn them twice. What you really want from the Palestinians isn't for them to be peaceful, you're expecting from them to be masochists, because this is what someone would be when they're being peaceful and docile in the face of blatant and constant impingement of their most basic human rights."

Asking "Do you condemn Hamas?" is a trap because it forces a binary response to a complex issue, creating a false dichotomy. It pressures the person to align with one side, oversimplifying their views and potentially misrepresenting their stance. The question diverts the conversation from more nuanced discussions about the broader conflict, underlying causes, and possible solutions. It is designed to corner the respondent into making a politically charged statement, rather than fostering genuine dialogue.

Maybe an interesting case to explore is how Holocaust survivors massacred innocent Arab civilians and dispelled thousands to conquer the city Lydda in 1948. Meanwhile, though minority, other Holocaust survivors refused Zionism. How they get there? Is it abstract mental metamorphosis or actually a combination of power and ideology?
@mimicocto
@mimicocto 23 сағат бұрын
My opinion is that metamorphosis is not abstract at all. People are processing and manifesting their personal complex traumas differently. Complex trauma is causing physical changes in human brain but victims are applying different methods to live with it. We shouldn't forget that psychology recognized complex trauma only recently when brain imagining became available. Maybe we would understand more about difference in their behavior if we could scan their brains.
@thairk
@thairk 18 сағат бұрын
@@mimicocto This reasoning will take us to a direction where only DNA defines human behavior. At the end, people process psychological drama and trauma in the way that is consistent with power and ideology. Holocaust survivors with the worse imagined traumas ended to be humanists, deeply anti-racism and supremacy. Others turned themselves to worse types of killers i.e., killers who claim to be victims with an ternal right to do whatever it takes to defend their power and ideology.

It shattered it at the very core and started crumbling the Zionist Entity, forever will Israel be exposed and seen for what it truly is.
