Couldn't agree more! I got hate for pointing out a lot of things you've highlighted in this video recently. An issue is that a lot of people who consume "investing" content are only here for entertainment and will prefer comforting lies instead of the uncomfortable truth - trust me bro!

The real Pokemon Card Crisis is rich millennials ripping apart collectable boosters that the world is running out of so they can be popular on Tiktok. Much bigger Pokemon fans who work hard for their money and who appreciate the vintage boosters more want to collect them but these dumb jerks are literally tearing them up for cards that are common as sand on a beach. The entire inflated vintage card market was made by people who like money more than Pokemon and its taking the collectables out of the hands of better fans who like Pokemon more than money.

Missed opportunity to talk about the time CGC gave Pokeradar that incredibly undeserving grade on his Illustrator just because he's a Poke Tuber and/or CGC wanted publicity. Or that time Beckett got caught giving out black labels to a former employee! I'm with you that pop control is largely a myth but you only talked about psa. If they were willing to slap that One Ring card with a 9, no way anyone can validly accuse them of pop control. We all know CGC and BGS were dying to give it an automatic 10.

Comming from the only generation we’re we see 1st edition charizards n base set all the big hollows being passed round the play ground and treated so disrespectfuly lol big pile of hollows no penny sleeve and definitely no top loaders having no clue what they be worth now much older buying cards at 1000 plus for cards we were throwing around
