It's worth noting that the Vanquish has an etched glass crosshair to the wires on a Crossfire. Wires can shift or get broken from recoil, whereas etched glass can never be affected by recoil. You may think, who cares it's a lifetime warranty, but you may not realize your crosshairs have shifted until after you missed the shot on a buck of a lifetime.

Thank you for the video - it was great. StudlyDyl mentioned that the distance to the splatter target in the beginning wasn't mentioned and neither were the barrel lengths. I am guessing the Mossberg Patriot on the MDT LSS Chassis is using a 22" barrel with a 1:8" twist and the AR style Mark 12 Mod 1 in 6mm ARC was running an 18" barrel and possibly a 1:7.5" or 1:8" twist. Keep in mind, the operative word here is guessing. If I am wrong about the Mossberg Patriot, then there is a 6" difference backed by a slightly more powerful cartridge. If I am not, there is still a 4" difference, also backed by the same cartridge. Of course all of that is based on the Mark 12 Mod 1 running an 18" barrel. I think it would be interesting to see what would happen using a lead sled and 4, 6, and 8 hundred meter targets. That being said, both rounds are good to 1100 meters, so the distance shouldn't be a major problem for either cartridge, although the 18" barrel might present a problem at that distance. For whatever reason, the more I think about the video, I feel as though your barrel on the Mark 12 in 6mm ARC was 20", this would make a 2" for 22" barrel on the Patriot more negligible, and of course if the Patriots running a 24", then that would make a difference. Either way - this was a great video. I subscribed and would be interested in seeing more videos from you. Once again - thank you.

Well I havent watched this yet, but a bolt gun, in a MDT chassis, shooting a larger action, slightly faster, more powerful cartridge, 6.5 Creed. vs a Semi auto Ar/M16 style rifle. Should be an easy win for the bolt gun. Lets see how this turns out..... 6 Arc is a seriously much better round than 5.56. Its really great we were all handed this at the end of the M16 style battle rifles life in the military, as it is phased out over the next few years for the new 6.8 NGSW. The 6mm Arc's range from 58 gr varmint loads to the 103,5,8 grain target and beast stopper is really remarkable. The extra distance and more powerful ARC is what all 5.56 ars should be changed to over the next decades imho. I just looked and 77gr 5.56 is .90 cents a round in bulk. 6mm Arc in Hornady Black 103 gr is $1.30 a round. 6mm ARC is really the caliber of the future for Ar's imho. greater range, more lethality, less drop, and wind drift. Cost is the only thing 5.56 has going for it right now, but it should nearly even out in time. I sure 5.56 will be around for many, many, years but 6mm ARC has surpassed it, in the Ar/M16 platform in most ways.

How far out does 6ARC stay above 2200fps? I'm asking because the 308 is 60-ish grains heavier, so the lighter 6arc needs speed to compensate for its reduced mass, and 2200 fps is considered the lowest threshold for hydrostatic shock by many professionals.
