I’d gladly own either. Take your pick. Both are A-1. Who has better customer service. Paying a lot. Who backs up their products?

I bought some liners for the basket and the black tray. The liners are plastic mesh. I found them on Amazon and often if I’m cooking something really dirty messy, I use parchment paper on top of that liner. There isn’t much room between the top of the oven and the trays. I have some silicone baskets I use in my basket air fryer (a different appliance). But those silicon baskets don’t fit in this ninja oven. I do a lot of shit tray meals in it for example some fish and then some vegetables. I wanted to air fry some eggplant and that worked fine in there. And of course I cook chicken in there just like everybody else. I like to put asparagus on the sheet pan and then add a fillet of fish and of course some lemon. I like spices so I do use all sorts of spices. Janet Zimmerman wrote a really good cookbook for this oven.

I love Ninja, but I think I will pass on this one until they make one you can change the temperatures. I could see myself easily burning things or letting it cook too long. But thanks for the detailed review.

I totally understand that. I would prefer more precise temperature control as well. Thanks for watching, I hope you find one that works for you!

The thickness of the premium pans means the temperature won’t change as fast when an ingredient comes into the pan. Essentially the premium pan cooked the food at a higher average temp than the essential pan in that first test.

Hi, outstanding!! Made twice, was just cooking some, added another cup water because was evaporating faster than usual, maybe temp? Well fell asleep about 20-25 min, but we're still amazing, just cooked down more. My sister-in-law makes great greens, was amazed I made these. Said I should use a ham hock start a broth and use that instead water? Think will change it? 2 bundles collard greens almost $10 lol. Tyvm

6:26 uh oh. You are NOT supposed to use the pan without any oil. They say in the instructions of EVERY ceramic pan RIGHT on the stickers that you have to peel off in order to use the pan. Basically, heat the pan on medium flame for a min, add oil, then use. Nothing wrong with EV olive oil and butter. Doctors say it helps lose weight, not gain weight. Look it up. So…

I returned two Le Creuset Dutch ovens because of manufacturing defects around the pot rim and lid. I also didn't like the fact that the defects/chips were deep enough that they had rust, and the shipping box for a top of the line item is a joke. Also, take a closer look at the way they spray on their enamel coating around the rim of pot and lid compared to Staub. Size of handles, size of lid knob, and the inside color is really no big deal. Also, you can add ice on the top of the lid for added condensation inside which works, can't do that with Le C. Not saying Le Creuset isn't an excellent pot "But" I'll take Staubs added tech and better quality, shipping, and lower price over Le Creuset any day, thank you very much!

suggestion as someone who has done a lot of air fry wings... do not sauce the wings because they'll burn like you see there... put them in spray with some avocado oil... maybe add some salt at most... once they're done take out and add a prewarmed sauce in a separate bowl. I usually do around 370 degrees for 25 mins from frozen. My favorite air fryer so far is the Ninja Foodi XL... it's just a work horse. I have stopped using it however to use something a bit more countertop friendly. :D so my Foodi is in the storage room in my house.

Very thorough video. Thank you. I just purchased one of these and I am an Instant Pot novice. However, I did air fry sweet potato fries and boneless skinless chicken thighs last night, separately, and they were delicious! Today I used the pressure cooker-first time EVER using any pressure cooker-and made THE BEST quinoa with vegetables EVER! I used the “Natural Release” steam mode. I also followed an Online recipe for the cook time: 1 minute, which totaled 20 minutes after preheat, cook, and cool down “Open Lid” prompt. Please tell me where to find cook times for items, especially when cooking beans in the pressure cooker. As an example, how did you know to set the 3 minute pressure cooker time for your rice? After the great quinoa dish, I had an issue with returning the pressure cooker lid after cleaning it, by wiping it down, but eventually it did return securely into place. The unit is very helpful for my living space. I too wish I received a recipe booklet so I can use all of the cooking options. If I am not mistaken, some say bread dough can be proofed and baked in this appliance. That would be a wild treat to make!!!
