Well not really at all like another guy mentioned you could blow up and rebuild a c10 4 times and still be a lot under the cost of a cybertruck, plus the ev infrastructure is unlike the gas stations we have everywhere 💩 you can’t drive in the mountains go camping for days mudding to the dunes etc off road stuff with an ev for long before you have to go home but in a good ol truck you just strap a couple Jerry cans down and go and you don’t have a big iPad in the middle of your vehicle or this steer by wire crap or the whole thing being ran by a hackable computer not to mention the bumper with a tow hitch isn’t even mounted to the frame like a proper tow package it straight up rips off watch whistlindiesels video he slammed a ford f150 hitch down on concrete a hundred times and put it thru hell and the cybertruck bumper / hitch literally ripped off not even under load but because it clipped concrete there was even a true case of a trailer and bumper + hitch coming off and flying into the truck it was attached to causing a family to crash in a ditch and the towing capacity is supposed to be like 11-12 thousand pounds, not to mention how rusty, quickly they can get and it’s like what 100 grand for a glorified toaster with couches and an IPad in the middle it’s so ridiculous not only are they ugly they are straight up dangerous your tow hitch rips off you have a computer that could be hacked day by a government agency if your a very sought after person and just a whole multitude of other issues I cannot stand it I don’t own anything older than 1999 and oldest is 1929 and you wanna know why? I’m 15 years old and a concrete pump mechanic so I can fix stuff but I don’t know a crapload about cars and I can still fix anything on my old vehicles besides the 1929 model a because they did things way differently in that era but by reading a book about it I can figure it out I don’t have to run an electronic scanner and take it in to the dealership and have a computer plugged in to my obd port and do all this stupid crap just to solve a problem I can just diagnose it and fix it with plenty of readily available parts for em even at local parts stores and even if not I can always fabricate metal to fix my issues, I’ve heard with new cars if you even unplug the battery or try to disable it so people can’t steal it at night it goes into standby mode or something and you have to take it to the dealership… so all new cars suck but the cybertruck is one of the worst I’ve ever honestly seen not even trying to be a hater I’ve done research before hating it and anyway the experience of motoring is fun anyway and it’s a dying experience that nobody cares about anymore! Having to stomp down on your pedal a couple times and or pull the choke while your motors cranking listening to it to see if you need more fuel adjusting your carb screw so your idle is just right all the clickety clack physical buttons, manually shifting gears, hearing the motor roar and feeling the vibration, working on / modifying your vehicle, motoring was a genuinely awesome experience back in the day and anyone that had a car had to know how to work on it nowadays the government has restricted us so much you can barely hear your motor or fully electric no sound, big iPad in the center, no physical key or physical door locks just a clunky key fob and bright ass suv headlights that aren’t even the brights everything made of plastic or sheet metal aluminum everything being electrical I mean I could go on brother if you still disagree with me at the end of my monologue there’s something wrong because motoring and internal combustion engines need to be brought back to their full glory and stop being pushed into the shadows anyway have a good night sir I’m not trying to be an ass just very passionate about the art of real cars
