So a vendor sent me a product via UPS. I wasn't going to be at home and didn't want a $200 box of stuff left on my doorstep for hours. So I called UPS. They admitted they had it. It had just left Caledon on the way to Ottawa, where they'd need to be received and then put in a local delivery truck and signed into the hands of the delivery guy. So I called UPS because my MyUPS setup was setup for 'take to nearest UPS drop point' but this wasn't going there. The customer service recognized he couldn't change it (as I found I couldn't change the destination in MyUPS online) and I said "Well, it has to end up in your depot in Ottawa - just intercept it there.". The response "I can't do that." So they know where my package is going, they know what my prefs are, and they know for sure where it will go to be accepted and put into a local UPS truck.... AND THEY CAN'T CHANGE THE DELIVERY LOCATION... really? What use is their customer support? Tightest ship in the shipping business - NOT! At least the trucks are the right colour for the quality of their service. These are the same clowns that constantly charge me $40 for a customs assessment to tell me I don't need to pay anything due to NAFTA. USPS does the brokerage for nothing (or at least you don't get a whacking big charge separately as if you use UPS).

His brother is pretty funny too. It is hard to compare them though because Brian is a legend in the stand up world.

If you can't be funny and clean, you're not funny. I know a lot of folks will try to debate this, but they're wrong. They'll say, "But what what about so-and-so, the hilarious foul-mouthed comic?" And I'll say, if they can't kill it on network TV, they're not funny.
