Thanks for this video, Harry. For a skinny fat bozo would you recommend bulking up first before cutting down to get abs? Should the primary goal be to increase muscle mass first before worrying about leaning down to get visible abs?
@Harry0202 күн бұрын
Great Q! I'd definitely say cut down your body fat first to see some definition, and then do a lean bulk. It will make the process much more enjoyable and satisfying because you can actually see the difference in the mirror when you're at a lower body fat.

"I want to say something. I know that sports are important, but don't think about religion, my little one. You can do everything, but there is something more important, which is God. When a person dies, nothing will remain of him except his muscles or anything else, but what will remain are his good deeds and prayers. I hope you understand me. By the way, I am 17 years old. Wow, you have amazing physique. It's just wow, and I wish I could be like you one day. I also do calisthenics, and here is what I am doing so far. I exercise 4 times per week, and I eat before and after workout. I don't know if this is a good idea? So far it works for me. I also add some supplements and I follow nutrition plan for muscle gain by Onlymeal. I am doing this for two months already, and I feel how people notice me much more than before. And my mental health improved a lot as well.

That's awesome my bro! Although there are many opinions about when to consume your meals for optimal growth, I'm a believer that it doesn't matter when you consume it as long as you meet your macro goals at the end of the day. Of course there are going to be factors such as if you had enough food before your workout to use as energy, or if you eat too much before sleep that will disrupt your sleep and thus your recovery, but that is all up to the individual preference. What matters is that you keep it consistent and follow your routine every day!

Great video, Harry J Park. Looking forward to your next upload. I smashed that thumbs up button on your content. Keep up the awesome work! Your emphasis on compound exercises is spot on. How do you suggest balancing strength training with cardiovascular workouts for optimal results?
@Harry0205 күн бұрын
Thanks Keiser! I'm not an expert on strength training, but I can be sure that doing the cardiovascular part after the strength day is better so that you can use the maximum of your strength. Or having a separate cardio day would also work, but all depends on how many times a week you are trying to train!

My biggest roadblock is food satisfaction. If I eat healthy food that tastes good, i feel hungry afterwards. If I eat large amounts of low calorie foods, i don’t enjoy it. I started the gym about a year ago and i am now 160 lbs and 6 ft. Thanks for any advice and for your help!

My bigger roadblock is definitely time. I’m on holidays right now, that said I work so I don’t have the most time especially when I have to balance out mediation, journaling and reading. So I’m going to start pre planning my day the night before and wake up early to train abs if I need to
@Harry0205 күн бұрын
Sounds like you're off to a great track! Plan your day ahead and write down the priorities. Make sure working out is one of them. You got this ;)

@ yeah I’ve started getting up a little early and doing 30 crunches with my legs elevated and 30 leg raises (which would take me 10 minutes or so) to start building the habit before I overwhelm myself

My roadblock is keeping this lifestyle when my regular changes like if i start in the holidays its hard to navigate again when i get back to school because i eat at different times go to gym at different times and don't have as much time.
@Harry0205 күн бұрын
IMO, holidays shouldn't be an excuse to slack off and not train (unless the gym closes). And besides, it's week 2 of January so Holidays are past! Time to start :)

hardest part for me is figuring out what to eat. my mom doesn’t let me cook chicken in the house so i try sticking w eggs and salmon but i get tired of that sometimes.
@Harry0205 күн бұрын
Have you tried talking to your mom why she doesn't let you cook chicken in the house? Sometimes having a serious talk with your family is necessary, and I believe if you tell her in the right way with the right reasons, there shouldn't be a reason why a loving mother wouldn't let her son cook for the sake of eating healthy and getting enough protein in his diet.
@Jesse-wu3cm10 күн бұрын
The biggest roadblock for me is definitely self and surrounding denial, for example, I would have been training for an hour or an hour and a half and then I look in the mirror and still feel nothing inside me even after so much motivation. People telling me that I'm too young or not "matured" enough to workout just kills it for me. Its like music, you have a different feeling each day.
@Harry0205 күн бұрын
Working out teaches you discipline. You won't start growing your arms and chest just because you started to work out a week ago. Some people put months and years of effort to attain a small change in their physique. Make sure you're not setting yourself unrealistic expectations with the social media and people using enhanced anabolic steroids. There's a limit to which you can attain in the natural limit.
@tychoakkerman862510 күн бұрын
I always struggled because I just don’t really like to sport, but now that I’m doing it for a few weeks I just really get motivation from it. I’m just not sure if my workout plan works, (5 days a week, separate days for different body parts and always ending with some cardio). Apart from that I’m not sure about my diet. I still live at home so I don’t really decide what we eat so I just try to track how much I eat and how many protein I get. Should Iad some protein drinks?
@Harry0205 күн бұрын
Don't doubt yourself King, it sounds like you're on the perfect route to your goal. Protein supplements will help, because it's likely you won't be consuming enough protein just from your meals. Also, it keeps you satiated and might help you eat a bit less on the calories.
@tychoakkerman86255 күн бұрын
@ Allright, will do! Thanks for the advice, You’re the best💪🏻
