Oh is it?? I had no idea! hahaha I never watched the later seasons so I just assumed that's an official Daphne transformation... But these are super cheap stickers from Amazon so I shouldn't be surprised that they include stolen fan art... My Pokémon stickers did too...

Love the addition of the pants and the color scheme going back to purple; the reboot outfit makes it look like she's going to the disco or sth; with the addition of the pants it's a more casual, everyday outfit and also fits Tecna's more practical character.

I love the new outfit, it's more true to OG Musa; just would change the red to look more like her S1 top. But other than that I love that you returned her more casual jeans-skater girl style ♥

I like your redesigns so much better than their actual looks in the reboot. this reminds of the time pre season 5 when I was a kid where I saw fanart of new transformers & then in the actual new seasons they weren’t nearly as good

I like it alot too actually. Is a nice contrast to Flora's usual soft personality. I feel like if we limit too much of what characters can or cannot wear, it's going to be boring in the long run 😅

The 3D redesigns ruin the overall silhouettes of the characters. I also agree about Flora's jacket, I just feel like she needs have a more flowy/soft outfit, I really like your vision of her.

I love Tecna's new look, but the shiny-ness makes it feel more like a formal look than an actual casual outfit. I do think your redesign kinda felt like just updating her classic look like they did with Aisha/Layla rather than a new look, but it's still a great redesign!

The use of pink definitely feels influenced by later Winx seasons. While your design feels a bit too 2000s, it still feels more "at home" for Musa rather than the runway style they gave her. Plus I kinda like the idea that when she came to Earth, she was influenced by the Y2K resurgence in fashion.

It feels like you're pointing out that I am old (which is correct) and it actually made me giggle! Yeah I didn't even think about it while drawing but she is a lot more pink later on. I used to own the season 1 box set and watch it on loop as a kid so all of THAT is forever burned into my mind! Approaching the designs with everyone's background and world of origin in mind would be so smart! And how they get influenced by living and travelling to different places and all that! But also a lot of work to balance their designs as a group... it might be something I might try somewhere in the future though 👀

I really wish the show went with Musa's earlier leaked designs (paricularly the one from last year; she looked AMAZING!). And I don't recall if she was a good dancer in the show, but I'd love to dee Musa's fashion be influenced by popular dancers/singers like Normani, Blackpink, Ciara, and Tate McRae. Again, love your design!

Very early on her character picked up quite a few influences from hip hop fashion and culture through a Eurocentric lense. Nothing too crazy though. She also had a love for dancing and clubbing where she had a few bonding moments with Layla. Also I know she's the fairy of music and all but I love the idea of her wearing some sort of modern dance/training outfits. I think what she is wearing in the reference I used is already kind of leaning in that direction with the layered leotard, but then also her fairy outfit could potentially be something more like a stage outfit! And yeah I also absolutely LOVE 🩵 that older design of hers with the buns!

Stella was done the dirtiest, I swear! This look is much better than her screenshot look, but I prefer your use of blue over pink. It's a great indicator of her heritage.

Traditional art is so much better than digital art in my opinion! Its so much more fun to have a physical piece at the end of the day than a large file that takes so much storage lol.

Unfortunately for me the physical pieces are a problem because I ran out of room a long time ago 😭😭 BUT I'd say my favourite part about traditional art (aside from what I've mentioned in the video) is actually having effects like scents, glitter, metallics, neon etc. that can't be replicated digitally ✨

0:50 it looks almost like they're walking through a portal in that clip though. I feel like all of them having identical watches means that those are for the portal and are most likely temporary to that scene specifically. That's my hope anyway, imma be so mad of that's a finalized design choice.

I didn't even think of that! I wouldn't even be mad if they used magical items for teleportation! I just hope it's not going to look like smart watches... In Mia and Me they had this super gaudy bracelet but at least it looked ✨magical✨ I also wouldn't be opposed to the show leaning into a more futuristic setting but then I'd like it to be more fantastical like everything related to Tecna and not... existing technology...

Just sharing my thoughts: I personally really like her leather jacket. You said it looked like a biker chick jacket but with the flowers and paired with that dress, I personally saw schoolyard mom. Which kinda made me love it more, since she was kinda portrayed as the group mom in the original 3 seasons. Along with how much promotional Flora stuff we've gotten - including a very quick clip in the 'trailer' that looks like she's showing bloom around Alfea, and her transformation sequence where she looks more confident - (it could just be me giving my hopes up but) it seems like she might be more assertive but still nurturing. I think the leather jacket works if her character is gonna be like the group mom who is just SUPER adamant and maybe even aggressive about taking her friends under her wing. I could even see her kinda being like Willow is Toh season 3, where she looks like she has everything put together and helps others out all the time but ends up doing it to her own mental detriment and hides her own problems because she sees her own problems as burdens and wants to make sure her friends always feel secure with her as the always reliable one. I think that'd be a very interesting road to take Flora, especially as a season-long thing (it didn't get explored much in Toh, season 3 was only 3 episodes.)

You put so much thought into this!! And it's wonderful! It sounds like an interesting approach~ it's always so risky changing up characters but I do feel like they are going to make changes and what you're suggesting sounds like sounds I can totally see them doing that. However I have a deep seated completely irrational hatred for pastel biker jackets 😭 But I am trying to remember what motherly girls used to wear in school because that could be a fun approach if I attempt this redesign again 🤔

The thing with Flora's new look is that they took away her really "flirty" eyes... Like, yeah, she wasn't flirting, but her eyes always had a squint to them that made her look quite soft and romantic, like she was all about love.

Now I remember the image with the first designs and I think Musa looked really good there, I wouldn't mind if her final design was like that. Bloom is also a little more balanced in this first version, to me it looks like something that was customized and that suits her since I remember in the beginning she was more artistic and even made her own dress, so I think she would modify her own clothes and accessories and that's why she wears so much jewelry.

Oh I LOVED that earlier look of Musa's reboot design it was so pretty! But everyone's designs were heavily relying on "micro trends" which I believe might've been a reason why they didn't go with that. I personally really don't like what I've seen of Bloom so far but I love your reasoning for it! Yes! That's such a good point! And I love me a crafty experimental character 🩵

@@BlueCocoaArt To be honest, I didn't like it either 😅 I only accepted it better when I thought about that part of her character at the beginning of the show, the two designs we've had so far are very similar but I feel something more positive about the first one, maybe because you can't see the bottom and I didn't really like the pants of the new version, and I found it charming that she had so many accessories that could have been made by her.

How you explained your views on Bloom definitely made me like her designs a lot more! I can also envision her as someone who makes matching friendship bracelets for everyone (since she also named their friend group lol) and I do love butt long hair but the ankle length look a bit odd to me in animation 😅 though I could see it "aesthetically" working during their transformations. I just find it odd in casual school attire. Opening up the hair buns could look so good! I can perfectly envision it but I think that's where the 3D animation will cause problems 💀 also I am a big fan of girls with short hair and long hair so I think it could be really fun if everyone's hair starts at a realistic length and just gets longer when transformed as it makes them look more magical too imo. One of the many things I love about enchantix!
