I like it alot too actually. Is a nice contrast to Flora's usual soft personality. I feel like if we limit too much of what characters can or cannot wear, it's going to be boring in the long run 😅

Actually one things is missing, its her ahoge hair they forget to ad on top of her head. You can search what is ahoge are and when you find out its really sad that she lost it😢❤

I think it's because the little hair strand looks good in 2D art and animation but it doesn't translate well into 3D. Especially since they are going for more realistic hair textures 😅

I definitely think that the looser/softer style you chose fits her so much more. The look she has in the show feels like something she'd have after being friends with Musa, Stella, and Aisha for a while.

The thing with Flora's new look is that they took away her really "flirty" eyes... Like, yeah, she wasn't flirting, but her eyes always had a squint to them that made her look quite soft and romantic, like she was all about love.

I never saw them as flirty but to me they did emphasize her having a soft smile! Although I REALLY like your interpretation of how her eyes connect her to love! She does have so much love and compassion for everyone and everything after all~

Loving the design, I think I would've mostly kept her upturned eyes and given her a more rounder nose, rather than the opposite but great design none the less

Tbh I did try to give her a different eye shape. One that's more reminiscent of how they looked in the old cartoon but I couldn't make it work and gave up 🥲

The 3D redesigns ruin the overall silhouettes of the characters. I also agree about Flora's jacket, I just feel like she needs have a more flowy/soft outfit, I really like your vision of her.

Just sharing my thoughts: I personally really like her leather jacket. You said it looked like a biker chick jacket but with the flowers and paired with that dress, I personally saw schoolyard mom. Which kinda made me love it more, since she was kinda portrayed as the group mom in the original 3 seasons. Along with how much promotional Flora stuff we've gotten - including a very quick clip in the 'trailer' that looks like she's showing bloom around Alfea, and her transformation sequence where she looks more confident - (it could just be me giving my hopes up but) it seems like she might be more assertive but still nurturing. I think the leather jacket works if her character is gonna be like the group mom who is just SUPER adamant and maybe even aggressive about taking her friends under her wing. I could even see her kinda being like Willow is Toh season 3, where she looks like she has everything put together and helps others out all the time but ends up doing it to her own mental detriment and hides her own problems because she sees her own problems as burdens and wants to make sure her friends always feel secure with her as the always reliable one. I think that'd be a very interesting road to take Flora, especially as a season-long thing (it didn't get explored much in Toh, season 3 was only 3 episodes.)

You put so much thought into this!! And it's wonderful! It sounds like an interesting approach~ it's always so risky changing up characters but I do feel like they are going to make changes and what you're suggesting sounds like sounds I can totally see them doing that. However I have a deep seated completely irrational hatred for pastel biker jackets 😭 But I am trying to remember what motherly girls used to wear in school because that could be a fun approach if I attempt this redesign again 🤔
