This concept sounds familiar. That is what is played on NSL tournaments for years now and people from all over the world love it. 💯

How about a format where, for each minute a single point goes, the winner scores more points, with a max of 5 if it goes full length and an automatic point when the last player from the losing team is shot. (So a game that goes 3:15 give the winner 3 points.) That'll make the losing team want to take their chances far earlier, and they'll finally have a reason to try and push the matter, instead of holing up?

Paintball is the only sport where athletes dont discuss pay openly and where the response to haters is always something like "we should be unified". There are entire broadcasts, podcasts and radio shows where all they do is hate on off season moves. It gets people talking in the community. Like matty says, it builds drama and gives you people to care about or hate

I appreciate everything Tom is doing whether it is accepted or not from the community because he is trying and coming up with new ways to get paintball in the big leagues.

We have a "d6" rank sapposedly but last year we played a series in d5 where my team was the only team tht diddnt play a series the year before so against all "seasoned teans "we were series champs but we should make d6 an actual thing for xball maybe 1 d5 drop in and must have beginner rank because i have friends tht just started but they would placed dead last if they played d5 last year no one was really an into paintballer

crossover event would be cool. There's a skate park at the new cincy event venue. partner with a skate team to run an event that same weekend. that's a great demographic that could potentially be interested in paintball also

unfortunately converting social players to Tournament players in Australia is actively blocked by field owners... the field owners in Australia are very protective of the repeat business and actively prevent the transition to Tournament play...
