I was out today kayak fishing on my river in Ohio in the 30 mph gusts. 😂 I caught 5 Largemouth though. I basically used the wind as a trolling motor and beat the bank with a squarebill, spinnerbait and a shakey head.

This body of water ranges from muddy to 6 feet of visibility depending on the time of year. I usually go for natural colors. I used a shad colored spinnerbait with a Tennessee Shad trailer the whole time. Venom lures has some great natural colors that I like a lot.
