How do the new 11six24 power paddles compare to the Pickln Alecto 3? More power, control, spin, softer or are they very similar?
@TickleMyPickleball
@TickleMyPickleball 20 сағат бұрын
So for the power and pop it depends, the Alecto doesn't always break in and if it does it will take a while. The alectos have more of a trampoline effect while the powers have a more crisp feel and dont pocket the ball Spin is the same
@mindfullnesss5902
@mindfullnesss5902 14 сағат бұрын
@TickleMyPickleball thank you so much for your input. I might go for the Alecto 2 green since it's more controllable, plus I'm waiting for those Chorus Supercourts to drop, been hearing great things about them. So hopefully the Alecto 2 will keep me busy in the mean time until the Supercourts drop

@@TickleMyPickleball great to hear! Been looking into paddles extensively for the past month and half since I gave my mom my main paddle because she liked it more than hers lol, and sold my secondary to a friend of mine so I've been using my mom's Vatic prism v7 in the mean time. It's been so hard to choose one or 2 paddles since the market is so saturated, the Alectos have always been on my radar and those Supercourts are so attractive that I'm just gonna pull the trigger on both of 'em, F it lol. Thanks for the reviews as always, and for reading all that lol. Keep up the great work

After you have more time hitting with the Vapor Power and the J2k Plus, I’m curious to know how these two compare power-wise and overall. BTW, I love your new background. I was really tired of that plain white wall.

Just love all the secrecy about the Crbn. When I would think they would to build it up so people would want it. So many good paddles out there. So what would want me to wait for the Crbn. I’m losing more and more interest in it because of the secrecy

Completely agree. They took too long so I bought the mod ta and gearbox pro ultimate. Couldn’t be happier and definitely won’t be buying the trufoam
@Dy1pickel
@Dy1pickel 18 сағат бұрын
@@HughMungus8those are now illegal for play and sunsetting. This is the reason why it took so long for them to release. They weren’t trying to make a profit on game breaking power paddles but trying to appease the usapa and upa with repeated paddle testing. Trufoam is a fantastic all court power leaning paddle. Use what you want, but you have to give credit to crbn for their development. Can’t say the same for most companies pushing a new paddle every 3 months stating it’s better…

This may be an odd one.. but for starter, I like the Spartus Apollo. I keep that in my bag and it's a goto if i'm not feeling my game that day. It's essentially my "LET'S GET BACK TO BASICS" paddle to reset my game and get my comfortable again. The price, swing weight, and twist weight are a great combination. Plenty of room to add weight to up the power a bit. It's a control machine with tons of spin. I have a hard time generating top spin , but this paddle works with my weird swing mechanics (6' 5" with no racquet sports background). My serves get nasty spin.

There are many great beginner paddles and there isn't just one best, but C2 is definitely a contender. For $100 and less- Jellybean by 11six24 and Vatic Pro Prism (yes still good in 2025). For even less, Friday paddles are very good at their price. All paddles should be bought at discount because codes are always available. For a bit more, Neonic flow is a good option, although once you get closer $150, many more options open up including other honolulu paddles like J2K or J2ti. Also, beginners might not want to spend more than $100 until they have been playing a while.

Best beginner paddle that I like to recommend is the J2H because it give the reach and it helps tone in precision for beginners. I can't wait to play with the C2 and the J4. I heard about the C2 back in April of last year and the J4 looks like the best paddle for a ping pong background player like me! I can't wait to see more of a breakdown on the J4

I still think the Vatic Prism Flash may be the best beginner paddle. I know a lot of people like the 11six24 Monarch Jelly Bean but I know even more that will prefer the looks of the Prism Flash and that will mentally make them enjoy it more.
