Great review! Would you recommend adding lead weight? Where would you add it if you would or do you think this paddle performs better stock? It seems that some added firepower would do it good from what you mentioned.

Thanks! I personally always add lead tape from 10 and 2 positions down the sides on hybrid paddles so I did 0.2 oz on each side and then one round of electrical tape over it

I actually was going to for the review gameplay but I felt it about to tear when I moved too much so I had to take it off. Also I sweat too much and didn't wanna ruin it

This paddle has more pop and I would say it has the slight edge in power too because of that fiberglass layer

Love the comparison to the original shapeshifter, but it feels a little lighter and slightly less head heavy to me. Maybe it’s just the pet/ti, but Do you think it felt like a little less stiff J2ti with underlying fiberglass pop. Like a J2ti with kick in firepower maybe?🤔

The Shapeshifter does have longer dimensions so it's possible that the ones you've tried have had the shapeshifter as the heavier options. Hmm I would say it's similar to the TI on dinks, it could be softer but I'd have to bring the TI out again but for sure the Invader has more overall firepower

The Saga has a more plush feel on contact that's more reminiscent of a gen 1.5 like their prism series. It's basically like a prism with less dwell time and more power The Invader is a gen 2 paddle so it has a stiffer feel to it. Overall less power and pop than the saga but because the Invader uses different layers of surface materials, it does feel more different on softer shots compared to putaways Hope this helps!

@@tomclowes5874 imo I would recommend the Invader over the Flash for a first serious paddle. I think it's a bit more beginner friendly. That said depending on what you like, the J2K and Spartus apollo are also great beginner options I recommend
