Hey! Great tutorial by the way, Im just having a little problem here. At the Camera Brush Bit, I followed along everything you said but the scattering doesnt update when the camera and camera brush point to it, it only updated when I move the Scatter Mountain, any fix for that?

Thank you for the wonderful video. Is there any other way to speed up the playback? I'm much better with this method, but the red letters still don't go away. Still subtly slow timing ㅠㅠ

While there are certain parts where I couldn't figure out with the textures such as how to get the hand textures into the software for some reason (I looked it up and I can't figure out how to do it with my computer, no biggie) I found the modeling part very helpful and it helped me to organize a lot more. I have been doing 3D for years and I will say that while I may not understand some parts of your process, such as why you didn't use the array modifier (Note: I haven't finished the rest of the tutorial and I may not get to it cause I'm going for a different style). Other than that, this was amazing.

I really wish content creators would show this in beginner videos. I watched many Blender beginner's videos back in the day and no such things were mentioned. 5 years of doing Blender I can finally time things without a calculator. Thank you.
@yojan694 ай бұрын
I was just curious, what do you exactly mean with timing things with a calculator? without knowing what that means, it sounds crazy 😭
@NotGarbageLoops4 ай бұрын
@@yojan69 Put a timer in front of me (like the typical one that comes with your cell phone's clock app). Start the timer. Play the animation in my head at the speed I want. Use the timer to figure out how much time that was. Take the video frame rate (usually one of 24, 30, 60). If we're doing 60 fps, then one second is 60 frames. If 24 fps, then 24 is one second. Make sure the animation lasts for the amount of frames that I want in seconds. So, a 5 second animation at 60 fps should run for 300 frames. It's not a fun way to do things.
@Ocean_Carp4 ай бұрын
@@NotGarbageLoops i mean its not like you have to guess how long the animation is, just divide in your head, 300 frames is 5 seconds because 60 x 5 is 300
@NotGarbageLoops4 ай бұрын
@@Ocean_Carp That's very easy to do for a single object. It's very hard to do when you're trying to coordinate 50+ objects in a scene and need their timings to look natural.

@@bigsky7617 well damn well you know any modern blender scene tutorials?
@bigsky7617Ай бұрын
@@raitheon it just depends on what kind of scene...hiw big, nature or city, water, animation, etc. You can filter KZbin searches to show the most recent uploads, which all should work with 4+. Like I said, I've started working on other stuff so I haven't done any environments for a while.

Despite all the mic issues in the comment i actually like the way the sound was coming through my headphones, sounded like some echo distortion filtere... That said, the tutorial was working real easy. But i actually did this to make assets for my environments, exporting to an fbx dint really work, i am reading stuff about baking and such, isnt there just a way to delete the sun and export the entire collection as a fbx or obj model and then reopen the file make a variation on the cliff export and go again etc etc. Thanks for you effort into supplying this for us!
