Depend on the weather. In hot weather I’ll refrigerate. Cold weather counter top works for me. Also depend on if you’re using margarine or butter. Margarine tend to be soft so I’ll refrigerate

Everytime I try this it fails. Batter is always runny. I follow the steps and ingredients to the letter 😅.

I wonder why 😳 I make it all the time without it flopping. Maybe next time add the buttermilk gradually. Don’t add it all at once
