First time checking out your channel, Maa'shallah. I will try this recipe In Shaa Allah. May i suggest a tip please. Try using a tablespoon of fresh lemon or white vinegar when putting together syrup ingredients. It prevents the syrup from crystallising and lends a lovely gloss to the koeksister In Shaa Allah Ameen 🎉.

I haven’t tried freezing mine yet. But I’m sure you can par-bake in a pan or oven then pop on the braai when needed.
