Everyone I've ever known that likes or loves Molly Hatchet gets a 10 mile smile every time we hear that whistle. Crazy how such a little thing is SO iconic.

Wow Dave Hlubek is skinny here? He put on weight fast, I just watched a clip not to long after this and he was significantly heavier. Must have been eating a lot better and drinking a lot of beer? They're all gone now RIP to the REAL MOLLY HATCHET

Saw them four months later at the Brushfork Armory just outside Bluefield, WV. Point Blank opened. Still, to this day, one of the best overall concerts I have attended.

Saw them at the old Va Beach Dome 1979. They were at their peak and the show was ear-piercingly loud and amazing in that acoustic nightmare called the Dome, lol. Then everyone died off. I am blessed to experience those few years with the original band. Danny Joe was the best.

I always liked this southern rock. In 78/79 I was just starting high school. Then I found metal -hair bands. 😂 my daughter now 23 in 2024 knows we had it good 🤘🏼 I do like her bands too ! Metal edge of course !

3 smoking guitars and a soul thumpin bass! I call it go fast rock! 54 yrs old n I'll get a speed sheet quick if this jam comes on! It's mandatory Southern law practically to speed while jamming to this ! Flirting with disaster by Molly hatchet, Mississippi queen by mountain, and train train by blackfoot! Southern Rock Gold! Ohh and they call me the breeze by skynnard !
