"For if I do not go away, the Helper will not come to you. But if I go, I will send him to you." John 16:7. Jesus said he needed to go for the Helper to come. Otherwise, it would not come. How can that be the Holy Spirit? The Holy Spirit has been there from day 1, including with Jesus, the disciples and believers all the time. It was there with Mary, Zakarya etc...

You first must understand that you’re guilty before God before accepting that you desperately need a savior. Believing in a creator is a nice start. The message is eternal life or tossed into the lake of fire. It’s a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God.
