I did know that already, it's pretty hard to miss with creatures like the trolls, the nisse, the mara and stuff like the style of the buildings in Trollberg (the freaking name Trollberg too screams Scandinavia), the yule tradition, the characters names. It is even my headcanon that this show takes place in Norway in the early to mid 90's judging by the characters clothing style and the technology used in the show.

When I was 15 back on December 2021,I even imagined that the show got a fourth season to eat the last seasons of the Powerpuff Girls in the dust(at the time,I stopped being a Powerpuff Girls fan and dissed the show for one year because of how PPG made a negative impact for me on my pre-teen days). Oh well. But endings are endings

The storytelling was great,the characters still have the charm,the new ones too and the finale was just... incrível("Amazing " in my native language,Brazilian Portuguese). Wanna know a disappointing final season of a show?! The ninth season of My Little Pony:Friendship is Magic(no suprise that the third season was released on the time that my chances of being a brony was draining)! XD
