Breakaway Stat only works for 1v1 situations its your gold butterfly helping you. Gold butterfly is the best.

@@imjealousofme2 you have tether controls on. If you want it off Go to settings > controller settings > near the bottom, turn off tether

Is it possible to use the old controls in any other mode besides CHEL? It's not fun playing a goalie in BAP or player locking on the goalie in franchise games when you can't turn tethering or auto hugging off.

@@YtJusBetr I understand that. But I’m an eashl guy and yes, I’ve enjoyed the games the past few years tbh. This is the first one I’m legitimately not having fun. They just need to make an update to some of these major bugs and I’ll be back!

I have found the game play for the goalie to be weird. The moment is strange. I’m not sure if they made the goalie steps shorter or slower. The fact that you can’t set up games for exact even in clubs sucks. I hope they make some updates. I loved playing goalie in the past, but this is very discouraging. The position was difficult enough. I’m not sure why they would make it harder.

What I was saying before the video cut off: I make videos for fun and if the game isn’t fun for me right now, then I’m not going to make videos on it. Don’t worry, I’m not going anywhere. I’m just gonna wait until the next update and they fix some of the major issues.

I played years of forward in 6s, so when I started playing goalie, I found it was easiest for me to get in good position and read the plays if I flipped the camera to “always down”. Not ideal for the few times a puck might be behind you, but it’s another one to consider or try out.

Heyy . Im new to playing NHL I am curious though . When playing to be a pro , how do I get my camera to follow the action instead of just looking at my goalie ? Sorry I don’t know how to .

@@Quezzzybihh the select button. On Xbox it’s the little button with the two squares. On PlayStation, It’s the big plate in the middle

Im pretty sure the reason you jumped on the puck fast after increasing the weight is because the rebound stat is tied to holding the puck

I cannt find the turn off button. But getting used to it. I liked the L1 an direction of the posts to huge it for the playstation. Now they just have the direction with your stick which sucks.

I watched almost this entire video. I did try a few tweaks like you and I can’t tell if it’s real or not. But Stance 16 seemed to work decently today during the 6 games I played. I really do think this build is extremely good.

@@MattT6941 truthfully, if I were you, I would just put on nothing. I still don’t know which perks hurt the hybrids and which help. But if you want, you can just put on whatever is available with these attributes

I tested this 10 games I felt like contortionist was causing desperation saves where it shouldn't have and caused goals.

@@tommykindle9774 hm weird. Because when I use it, I only get desperation saves when I need them. And then I get pure saves on normal shots. Are you sure you didn’t change anything else?

@@EmailBacon yeah didn't adjust anything, I found it happening a lot on breakaways which I usually save and then when there was a crowd in front of the net like I would read the dmans pass and start my move over to cover the one tee and then get a spits animation on my ass and watch the puck go right over me where other builds just glove it or body it

So weird. I tried it out and without a 2nd silver ability, it seems to work great but as soon as i put on a 2nd ability it disturbs the animations somehow??

@@EmailBacon it doesn't even work with something that affects endurance/durability like Show stopper or Energizer which is really strange. those two at least shouldn't interfere but they seem to as well.

@@RedhawksReport ea just coded the game wrong and we have to adapt to it. 1 silver slot is the way to go

@@EmailBacon yup! thanks for showing this. it makes absolutely no logical sense. 1 silver ability slot empty feels logically like you are putting yourself at a disadvantage. would never have thought of doing it personally. Is the effect the same on Butterfly or Stand-up?

@@trelaskillz I used to, but it seemed that when I did, my goalie didn’t catch the puck in his glove as much. It kept bouncing out

@@EmailBacon yup, I swear.. I’ve noticed the same thing. I also now have been testing using the cover up button all the time for butterfly cross net saves. I feel like I’m getting a lot more cover ups around the net compared to instinct’s save and trying to cover up quickly.

@@michaelpoupajr3568 don’t mind them but I just can’t get used to them. If I used them consistently I would be a beast, but I’m just not good enough with them with lack of practice
