Can you explain the L2 how to use it as a goalie?

The only problem that I found when letting your goalie save for you it lets in a lot of questionable goals that you would normally save. If you use the button yourself for example, I saw shot will balance off your pads your spread to the target and it just somehow manages to go into the crease your own defense scores on you all the time, etc. etc.

Is it possible to use the old controls in any other mode besides CHEL? It's not fun playing a goalie in BAP or player locking on the goalie in franchise games when you can't turn tethering or auto hugging off.

Would love to see a video that explains with examples how each ability activates. I think that knowledge for example of things like post to post and how to utilize the abilities to the best of what they can offer is invaluable.

Old controls have speed boost like older games, just press down left stick, your rapid in goal

Yes. I didn’t mention it in the vid, but good point. If people aren’t comfortable with the speed, use speed boost when you want to get somewhere fast

I turn on auto cover I have auto hug post off I don’t like auto post hug

Idk yet. I’ve changed to multiple different stance and they all are usable. Stance doesn’t matter this year. I might be just for the heck of it tho

@@deepturtle3352 right. That’s what I like. Skaters have limited time to make a decision, so if it looks like I’m taking up net when I’m not and it means the skater won’t shoot there, I want it.

Also because of how sometimes you can get delayed or downright no save animations based on screens and such, in certain situations your stance can and will save you. For this reasoning I believe stance matters. IMO

Old controls because you had to have some skill to preform the moves. 1 button controls are garbage and terrible no skilled players use this
