The bottom at the bow is at about 95m, the stern comes up to 75m. And yes, it is definitely a war grave

I read about this ship in my early days of discovering my passion about WW2 thanks to my grandfather’s copy of a magazine called ‘Illustrated History of WW2’. It had a whole article dedicated to the Invasion of Norway. Fun Fact… the brunette singer of Abba father was a German soldier stationed in Norway.

From the Log of the Submarine HMS Venture (P68) Captained by Lt J.S. Launders DSC & Bar. In it they claim to have sunk U771 on the 11th Nov 1944 about 7 nautical miles east of Andenes (from 60deg-18sec N / 16deg-28secE). Your claim that U771 was sunk by Allied Aircraft is doubtful. U771 was probably surfaced & in the HMS Venture's patrol area.

Wonderful stuff. I was borne in 1968 . The Old Bottles remind me of Custou diving on WWII Japoness wreck when I was a Child. The difference was the caps/ Corks still had the contents sealed in the Brought them up and sampled them. Party 😁.

I wonder if this 52 was one of the planes carrying mountain troops to Narvik , to bail out German paratroopers there, or was it one of the planes bearing the paratroopers? Maybe a plane used to drop supplies to the paratroopers? Are there any suspected remains on board? If so, is this a war grave? Always liked the huge windshield on this plane. It gave the cockpit a very majestic appearance. Great job, boys. Keep these videos going. Respect from USA
