Bardzo miło ogląda się obrazki z życia przodków uwiecznione na starych fotografiach, wraz z dokładnymi ich opisami, uświetnione muzyką, do której zapewne tańczyli w owym czasie. Pozdrawiam :)

Dear childhood memories of Frau Alma who tried to escape her husband's drinking and during her work at your home, found some pleasant childhood memories through a sentimental German Tango record that you, as a youngster, played for her on your Fathers graomophone.. a real touching story that you once told me during one of our joint listening sessions to beloved shellacs! Thanks for reminding me of it again Jurku!

@jurek46pink12 күн бұрын
I see that you have been active on this field for only 6 years. I am not sure if you noticed that this video was posted....17 (seventeen) years ago ! In the meantime - the thing that you may know nothing about - were a few administrative revolutions here: as a result of one of them hundreds of comments written by watchers were AUTOMATICALLY removed by the system. Leaving - also automatically - those who were posted by the owner of the place. Hope it will be clearer now. But it should be clear without my explanation if you try to look at them: you could have found by yourself that "of his own comments" are those which are... R E P L I E S ONLY !

Despite Anglosaxon influences becoming stronger in my country, on November 1st and 2nd we basically commemorate our deceased beloved ones the same way you do in Poland. These are days for introspection and recalling memories about those who are no longer among us. Hence I thank you for this touching tribute showing these remarkable portraits accompanied by intimate, meditative guitar music.

This music really impresses me! You know, I play the guitar myself and these old records are rare opportunities to hear the music as it was originally intended. And the first picture in the family album captures it perfectly: guitar and gramophone! Thank you for the perhaps idealized look into the past.
@jurek46pink16 күн бұрын
That past was close to be called ideal, as it is documented with original material. And accompanied by music. But, if you are interested what was happening there only a little later, I will cite my text from my Fb profile, although it will not have any liaison with this kind of music: The Mystery of the Hotel "Djalita" - Yalta, Crimea, 1918-1922. It was in this hotel that Teodozja secretly received correspondence from her husband, Andrzej Maliszewski, sent from the south of France to the family that remained in Yalta. He escaped suddenly, secretly, on one of the last ships - and that's how he saved his life. In Yalta, the "Bolsheviks" also killed for having manicured hands. They were to be reunited soon, but the bloody events of the civil war and "Crimea three times taken by the Reds by hunger" - separated them. Teodozja, at night, sneaked into Tatar villages to get a bag of groats or linseed for jewelry. Dead bodies swollen from hunger on the streets became everyday life. As well as those floating in the bay. People ate rats, rats ate people - memories of my Mom, then a girl. The cards arriving from France, from the elegant places of the French Riviera, written in sweeping letters, always in purple ink, were full of love and longing. They eventually found their way to Poland, as did the securities and Tsar's rubles brought by the exhausted Teodosia and her children. In Warsaw in the autumn of 1922, however, they no longer had any meaning or value. ............................................................................................................................................ But what was before they themselve called it a sort of a paradise. I am glad you found this music interesting, I know it is your instrument. Thank you !
