Core memories unlocked. I got so much ass back in 2001 when I had this thing in high school. It's such a fun car. Whooped all my friends, Hondas. Now I have a 2003 c5 z06 which I'll probably never sell.

I was going down memory lane and decided to check this car out I used to love the unique wheels. This was and still is a good looking car, but I don't see many on the road these days.

Those cars were great as long as the 3.8 wasent under the hood. Notorious for blowing head gaskets.

I love that 2.8 or 3.1 throaty rumble!!! They didn’t make all that much power but sure sounded great.

Mine was the same color , only mine was a 3 speed auto. I really liked that little car. I remember getting 28 mph driving on a very hot August night with a couple of friends to go camping. Thanks for sharing, they are very handsome cars.

My wife and I had a 1991 just like that same color but it had a blue 1/4 vinyl top and flawless white leather seats one of the best driving cars out of 40 in my life and that 3.8 is the most reliable engines we ever owned

Man that Buick is cherry ! My parents had an 82 they bought new and I recently picked up a 90 but it isn’t even in the same league as yours. However mine does drive as it should and the a/c blows cold so I love it.

Mine was white and automatic. Loved tearing up the dirt roads in Kansas!! Wish I took better care and still had her.

I had an unusual problem that I m not finding anywhere on KZbin. Intermittently my speedometer is showing like crazy hi speeds, kind of like the old cable driven ones used to. Like I wold be doing around 60 and all of a sudden the needle would erratically move up to around 100, then go down and bounce around 70. Really weird. The cruise control and transmission are shifting fine no problems, and the problem happens in any gear. ....1992 Crown Victoria. I think it's possessed, this car has had weird problems since we bought it. I have been slowly sifting through them. Does anyone know if there is a light oil that can be applied on motor / and gears on the instrument cluster if this turns out to be all that is wrong ?

That's almost exactly my car. But my interoir is a bluish gray. It's my daily driver now. 80,500 original miles and I driove it 160 miles yesterday. What a wonderfil ride. I wish I could find some new dynaride rear shock. They still work but...

I bought a 1989 Z24 brand new from the dealer show room. Paid $16100 Canadian dollars at the time. I just got my first job out of university. Mine was automatic and had a fully digital display. Wasn't the best mileage as the gearing was high. Drove it home from the dealer with my Roxette cassette blasting from the stereo. Awesome memories.

I had a new 1981 just like this. Unfortunately it was equipped with the 3.8 liter V6 and it was very slow. I loved the car, but it should have had a larger engine.

The 140hp 5.0 V8 was not much better, you didn't really miss anything. Some guys hot rodded their engines with a chevy V8 but that was very rare.

@@oldtwinsna8347 Perhaps not, but if I could have ordered the car (I purchased mine in September, 1981) I would have specified the 3.23:1 gear ratio. Standard was a 2.14:1. The 3.8 also didn’t run particularly smooth.
