1988 Buick LeSabre Estate Wagon

This Estate Wagon has the Oldsmobile 307 with a Rochester Quadrajet 4BBL (140 hp & 255 lb-ft of torque), and a Turbo Hydramatic Overdrive transmission with 4 gears. It took her 13 seconds to get to 60 MPH in 1988, and I think it takes her 20 seconds now. The car has a great ride and considering all that interior space that is 33 years old, the interior is rattle free.

Beautiful car. I have the same car and '87 version in white. I can tell you that driven sensibly as you did in the video, and well cared for, they will last a very, very, long time. Mine has 178,000 miles on it now and it remains a good solid car. No oil burning or transmission issues, etc. I urge you to use AMSOIL fluids in it, particularly for the engine oil and trans fluid. Don't let the cost bother you as they last longer than other oils so they work out to be less expensive than using lesser products.

Man that Buick is cherry ! My parents had an 82 they bought new and I recently picked up a 90 but it isn’t even in the same league as yours. However mine does drive as it should and the a/c blows cold so I love it.

Love what GM did with those brushed panels behind the rear doors on their wagons. Ties well with Buicks' traditional brushed trim. Buick was the only line that had the “Electronic Touch Climate Control“. Looks like it has automatic load leveling. 👍🏼Excellent video, lots of details to appreciate.

My Parents took delivery of A brand new 1988 Buick Electra Estate wagon exactly the same color blue with the Vinyl woodgrain & velour interior...at Reese Buick on Jericho Tpke in Bellerose N.Y. & they let me drive it out Of the dealer service area Out on the road & home 2 our Big Suburban home on Long Island...perfect 4 the burbs In '88...no friggin' SUV's around (except a few Jeep Grand Wagoneers)😂
