Drives me nuts how they’re trying to justify the cancellation when they did NOTHING to advertise season 5’s release! I didn’t know it was even thought of until last month! The Computer controlled halo ring episode bugs the crap out of me. Who wrote the update that saved the day, if the computer's creators evolved and left a millennia ago.

Here me out, but I'm actually kind of glad Lower Decks ended when it did. This show was on for five seasons and it was funny the entire time. It never jumped the shark like, say, Archer did. That show was good for about six seasons, then really took a nosedive. I'd hate to see Lower Decks meet that same fate, or worse, become another Simpsons and far overstay its welcome. It ended while the show was still really good.

Man if we get another season, I would like to see more Borg. We only see them in simulations or holo programs I was thinking... What would happen if he Borg got their hands on the Nano Bots from Next Generation? Then assimilated the nanites into their technology. They could disassemble and attack ships over several days and after a ship is crippled they swoop in to assimilate the entire crew.
