hey um did yall forget to put oil in or did ya just forget to take the tape off (or the third option I wasn't paying well enough attention and u did add it) also almost sounds almost like immobilizer issue?

You have stumbled into an inter-team argument here. The tape read: No Oil/Water. When we put oil in it, 'oil' was crossed out. So now it reads No O̶i̶l̶/Water. It's a bad system.

The Camry didn't have an immobilizer, so while we weren't sure what the issue was, we are confident it isn't that.

a spark plug as a coolant plug is amazing XD i used dog bowls as headlight housings once. basically its all coming together perfectly from what I can see!

awesome! just watched your last video- Im way over in the USA, we have a series called the 24hrs of Lemons I'm in the process of building a 1980 corona wagon for- your way of doing it with the stock engine first sure seems like a better way of doing it, I made the mistake of just going straight into a toyiota 3uz swap. needless to say it does not run yet...

It's such an easy trap to fall into. We are confident that we can make this set up work well for us, be we were confident the motor would bolt in, so who knows. I believe Motor Events Racing was born out of 24 hours of Lemons here in Aus.

Awesome work guys and a great video. I was with Days of Blunder #45 for 2023 and #44 for 2024. We used to use GoPros for our footage but they kept overheating resulting in hours of footage being lost and on top of that the footage we did have would take hours to load from the camera too our phones. Once one of our drivers upgraded IPhones we started using his old IPhone ( mounted via quad lock) for live streaming and put a charger in the car and so far we have only had one issue with overheating and we just mounted a small USB fan to fix the issue and the vid quality is only a little shaky if you decide to make your own line! 😂

We have now (2 races later) got a solution where the GoPro will last for as long as we need. Cheers for the advice.
