I wonder why specifically at (more at) IDLE? Ill check my engine mounts... and consider timing chain also. I have a slight (lifter tick) gettting better w additives/cleaning... but at idle I continue to get an irregular knocking sound. thanks!

2019 chrysler pacifica 3.6 v6 (pentastar) non-flexfuel. Had the oil changed by a lube tech in training at a quick lube place, drove just fine for about 300 highway miles, then check engine light came on, car was incredibly sluggish to accelerate, didnt want to rev above 1500 rpms, but did at least maintain speed. Checked my scanner and had the P06DD code, on these motors it generally seems like the pump or solenoid, which had me nervous being 300 miles from home. Called a mopar buddy of mine and he said it was probably a bad filter since it was just changed at a quick lube and they usually get cheaper filters. Got a wix xp filter from oreilly's, and took the old filter cartridge out. The lube tech had put the filter in upside down, crushed the anti drain back valve on it (luckily no pieces came off and went into the engine). Put the new wix filter in and the car runs like a top.

Before changing the filter i was seeing 7-9psi at idle, 24-31 accelerating, and 14-24 cruising. Once I changed the filter (and actually installed it correctly) I saw 30-31 pis at idle, 32-70 accelerating (depending on how much i was pushing the pedal), and 31-32 cruising. Luckily a simple fix for my scenario. Getting a refund from the lube place too.

At 3000 rpm, the alternator can drop out when it gets warm, indicating the voltage regulator is shot, worn brushes, etc.

Good video, but you do absolutely need a micron gauge. Mini split manuals will specifically give a micron value to ensure a deep vacuum is maintained. Traditional Gauges don’t tell you shit as far as vacuum depth. Dish soap will only show the worst of leaks. Oftentimes a slow leak won’t even show up using dish soap. I still appreciate the spirit of your video.

Micron gauges are good but are not necessary; analog gauges work just as well. Many installers don't even use gauges or a vacuum pump at all and just do a line set flush. Soap will find small refrigerant leaks and is a common method to find a leak and fix a leaky unit. If you have a micron gauge, use it, they are good tools.

So if my vents not blowing to the front so its blowing to just the defrost and the floor, does that mean i have a bad vacuum leak somewhere? I looked at all the wires and replaced the one in the firewall (its a tiny tube poking through and it still not blowing to the front. Also i changed my switch panel too and its still not working. What would be wrong? I have a 99 Dodge Durango slt with 5.9

Yes, it will need to be troubleshooted, but it is very likely an issue with the crankshaft position sensor is causing the issue.

Hey man I’m not a mechanic but i do have a few questions to ask about my diesel engine, Iv changed the glow plug in cylinder 2 and the light is now off and then I did an oil change with a new filter inside and I have managed to improve it quite a bit but there is still a slight ticking noise in the engine and when I giver some gas it speeds up Is it normal in diesel engines?

Anything I say here is a guess, but if the parts are good and there are no other codes, it's usually in the wiring. There can be engine-specific problems, such as certain passages getting blocked or other known problems that only that engine has. I would try to find an online forum or similar that has a lot of knowledge on your engine.
