My ram showed fuel up to half a tank before it would shows empty, now before it hits 3/4 full it shows empty. Not a mechanic but this must be the fuel sensor.

I bench tested the purge valve it works perfectly I tested electric harness getting 14.2 volts coming from computer and then isolated and tested the ground with meter getting 14.2 with red probe on car battery and black probe on negative slot of harness everything seems to be fine but when i install the purge valve back in car it doesn't open from what i can tell no suction from when checking with finger ...i don't have a tablet to activate solenoids..but on the bench it would click open with only 12 volts so it should click open soon as i put the harness back on it with 14.2 volts...any suggestions

I only had to spend around three dollars to fix this code on my car. Turns out there was water in my fuel system. Since it has been around 15 degrees F lately, the issue was exacerbated by the freezing temperatures, which ultimately led to my CEL. I added a de-iceing fuel additive to my tank and the DTC went away within 36 hours and I lived happily ever after. The End

I have a 06 ford expedition i put in a new timing valve solonoid i believe its called. Ran codes and it says i this code along with 8 others all about cam shaft banks 1 and 2, also i know i do have dirty oil what would be my next steps? Please and thanks

Please help me, Im a 65 yr female this problem i went in to get that smoke test to fix exhaust prob to get tags, much was taken from my avalanche, I could not even drive off the lot behind the PO507 when I put my brakes on, it was like metal. I immediately stopped the car and that's when I even heard ticking oil was taken from my car because it had lost half of it on my manifold it lights up. I checked it before I got out. I went around my car and looked at the rotors and he had a lot of wood in his garage anyways the back two were switched out and most likely the shoes because it was metal on metal next, I looked at the brake fluid and then I dropped down to minimum for Max right under maximum is where I keep it. I don't have money. I'm very poor. I live on retirement as a female as 1200 a month not even that almost in California and that's expensive, so what I'm thinking is I had a big old 5 gallon thing or whatever you call it of the oil it's a special synthetic oil. I'm not even gonna put that in my car because my truck I could've switched that out on me his smoke test he did look like he might've blue. What do you call that vapor thing when he was underneath the gas tank part and waited for just a little just barely nothing came through really, and but I think it just turned out to be the gas cap need to be tightened on my light up. System told me that my new purge valve was switched out. I don't know what to do. I had taken advantage of $399 and he stole everything from me to make my car run smooth and it's dangerous right now and I don't know what to do and with the AutoZone people I went directly to them and there and I've been going to them in the test come out the same and it's just one thing and it has it probably was the harness from the purge valve, which I told him about and right after I left him it said the problem was still there with the purge valve and I had four pages more worth of problems going on in my engine behind him, including the PO507. I also have P0442P0455PO113P0443 and I've never had these problems before. It also says my battery voltage is low and it's a new battery. It is my oil level passed although it was low also and did not do anything. He told me he had to wait for parts to be delivered. He was the only one there I don't even know who he is. I just need to find a good mechanic I mean Huntington Beach, California, and I'm scared to death because I know my truck and this man took advantage of me and I know how to relieve myself know how to reset the engine light to make it turn off you just unplugged the damn battery I have to get my tags and 60 miles is not gonna do it to reset the monitor. It's more like 120 to 200. Yes I called him back and read his right. I'm very angry and I've been crying all day because I don't know how people can be so evilhelp me. i'm devastated. in my case the 4x4 shifter vibrates heavily while on idle but it’s ok while driving. Anybody had a similar issue or know where to look at?

Thanks for this video! Trying to troubleshoot before dishing out major big bucks to replace oil pump. My oil was down to 2.5/6 quarts when the check engine light came on and I got an oil change the next day. I had just started Uber 3 weeks ago n definitely had put 3,000+ miles on in those 3 weeks. But now I wonder if the check engine light will go off by itself if I fixed the problem? Any idea?

I have this code on my 2007 Silverado 1500 and I’ve changed the ignition switch but, what’s happening is that it turns on fine when it’s cold but if I run it for a bit and turn it off it won’t turn on again until it cools down. Any idea why this might be happening? Thanks

My fuel pump had a small hole on the tube that sends the gas out I changed the top of the fuel pump cage and put it back together I had to unplug the wires in the pump . I put it back together and put the pump back in And then the p0451 code came up. The fuel pump must have been replaced before cause there was silicon on the ring of the pump. So what could e going on what should I check first

Ive got a 2016 Ford fusion 1.5, just replaced the vvt solenoids and it didnt fix the issue. If the code or light is still on after the replacement, do i need to clear the code for it to run correctly or should it have cleared itself?
