I love how MP builds the drum motif on The Test That Stumped Them All.

its a shame that they dont took a frame for any myung's phrases. Came here to see if I found some. Umbeliaveble how hard is to find a good one. Outcry is the same thing. Jesus, man, let me see myung playing, F!.

Jordan is a master player but I think Derek is more emotional when it comes to this solo keyboard on this song…

I was at this show with my mom when I was 19 years old... what a scene from a memory. 😉 She loved rock music and encouraged me, getting drum lessons for me and not just going to concerts with me, but loving them. I was in kind of a 'I'm a cool rocker brooding teenager' phase when we went to this show and listened to Megadeth's most recent (at the time) album on the train ride into Boston instead of talking with my mom. Sure, we talked a lot and had a blast at the concert (we were front row!!! 😮 ...though, all the way over to the right... so what... great view of Petrucci and actually, as a drummer, it's easier to see what tye drummer is doing when you aren't viewing them straight in front, unless you're in a balcony) but... she passed away in 2019. If I could go back to that day, I'd tell my 19 year old self, "enjoy every moment with your mom tonight. This night will never come again." Like A Change of Seasons says, carpe diem. I'm glad the band recorded this. Brings me back to a warm and sunny summer day that led to a warm and starry summer night, seeing Dream Theater at the height of my fandom, with my mom. Thank you Dream Theater, and thank you Terri. I'll always love you both. 🙏💚🌟🎶 P.S. - For any young dudes out there with moms that support your music and art... tell her you love her and give her a hug. Loving your mom makes you MORE cool, not less. 🥰

You could see Petrucci was getting tired from the downpicking and looking at Mike like "Hey stop increasing the tempo I'm downpicking" 😂

Heared Six Degrees again, the first time I tought the song was great, now I understand Its deeply flawed and some sections work way better as individual songs. Solitary Shell specially. However CD1 was underrated a lot.

This song is one of their hardest songs in my opinion. It’s harder to play than the dance of eternity, at least for me. It is both physical challenging with some rhythm changes. It’s like you run marathon while doing math 😂
