I'm from the United States & served in the military. Yes Costa Rica made the right choice abolishing its standing army. Here in the US we have this thing called "The Forever Wars".

Yes, your oil may be cheap but how much do people in Kuwait earn and what kind of technology has your people invented? ZERO. The smartphone you're using was invented by Americans thru capitalism. Women in Kuwait are still treated badly....they do not have all rights that men have.

If you're looking for a page supporting dictators, look elsewhere 💁♀️ and if you're going to use the "US did worse" argument, it did. But that doesn't take away from Saddam doing all of the things that he did

This is mostly true but I know of many sanctuaries who allow their more social animals to be fed and interacted with by students for either university courses or education programs at schools which I think is wonderful. Sometimes the most valuable learning is supported by first hand experiences with animals. It especially develops empathy from kids.

You can go to north korea as an American. There are guided tours that enter from China, they temporarily hold your passport while you're in the country, but its returned to you upon exit to china.
@goglobalwithsibu2 ай бұрын
The problem is the exit stamp from the land border in China proving that you've been in North Korea. US citizens were not banned up until 2016 when Trump created a new policy. Extremely risky, and I'd simply wait until this policy is gone.

Thank you VERY much for sharing the truth about Couch Surfing. It can be safe, it can be rewarding. Loved my Couchsurfing experiences, and hope that many more share their own! :-)

From my personal experience, it has been amazing and I can only speak about how I stay safe using the platform and how I'd recommend it. Is the platform perfect, especially for solo female travelers? It is not. Lots of creeps out there but those can be anywhere! I don't think that the platform should be completely dismissed. Happy to hear that I'm not the only one :) I feel like people really stopped using it after the pandemic!

Most of the world's trade happens by the US dollar, no other currency comes close. So why worry about Kuwaiti dinar??? 😢😮😢😮😢😮😢😮😢😮😢.

It’s hardly a country that can’t defend itself . Thanks to colonial powers who drew up Middle East and carved it out of Iraq which was carved out of Ottoman Empire . And handed over local power to a few corrupt Shiekhs who toe the line. Thats what all these little fiefdoms are . This is the reality
