Wow I'd love to try this hike. Looks like an amazing experience, Sibu! And good you didn't let your period stop you. Thanks for being honest about what it's really like hiking on your period. Looking forward to more of your long form videos 😍

Nice video! Brought back good (and some not so good) memories. I used Soy Tours and they also had an enclosed sleeping area, and had a good view of Fuego. The environment definitely plays a huge factor on this hiking experience. I did the optional hike to Fuego and I was very fortunate to see Fuego erupt big time upclose on a clear night. But I know of other hikers that told me they didnt see Fuego erupt. Regardless it is a worthy hike.

You got so lucky! I wish I could have had the energy to hike Fuego, I can't imagine how beautiful it must have been to see it that close!

@@goglobalwithsibu The hike to Fuego was GRUELING. It was the most challenging hike I've ever done because I didn't wear the proper hiking shoes for this hike nor did I have enough snacks for energy. In fact I gave up midway in the hike to Fuego but my group mates were super supportive (one even gave me a banana) and encouraged me to continue up to Fuego. It as worth all the struggle : )
