I actually see both sides of the coin here. I get Steve's point of view very nice. He also makes a very nice heartfelt appeal to the elders. I also see the elder's view. He is being questioned before the meeting in front of other people, knows others are watching and actually was honest - he doesn't care about the dates. He accepts the dates may be wrong, but he thinks it's the truth for other reasons. I will say though, love for God and man wasn't really demonstrated by anybody in this video. The elders, who are supposed to reflect God's love and that of Jesus, did not make much of an effort at all to find an amicable solution. All this being said, the video, the first and last names of the elders involved, and everything being published without their knowledge or consent is a bit too devious for me to overlook.

It’s like watching myself . I had a talk with a elder about some doctrinal topics like : the 2 hopes, the meaning of other sheep ( gentiles according to Paul ) anointed Christian’s and non anointed Christian’s , the new covenant only for the 144 k, Jesus invisible parousia . He said at the end of the conversation I will get back to you in this , we hugged and he left. It was really a nice , friendly and open conversation. A year later a got a letter . Unfortunately not a letter that answers my questions forms scripture , the topics are not even discussed. It only says that I was wrong ( not telling me why I was wrong ) And that I was becoming apostate and he don’t want to waste time on apostate thoughts . I was seeking only the negative in the organization and needed to come back to Jehovahs organization.

It's their corporation, and they can run it any way they want. Why do you go on knocking on their door? You have left them, and they have left you. Corporations are about creating scarcity so they can sell you their product. God is about abundance. "Come to me all you who toil, for my joke is kindly and my load is light". No dictatorship there, just love. In the last days they will say, here he is, or there he is. Do not go out to look, for when the son of man comes, it will be like the lightning that lights up the sky from one end to the other. What do JW's say? Come, Christ is here with us, we have the truth. Jesus says, no, they are lying.

Once you’re baptized it’s over , they just don’t care no love no reasoning it’s like you don’t matter anymore but even if you’re not baptized if you ask too many questions that they can’t answer you are a lost cause you have to except everything or your out period. Im a jw and I had a similar problem but what I did was take it to jehovah and left it in his hands and now I'm doing fantastic because I'm serving jehovah not the elders 30yrs at my home a the elders in my congregation have never visited me only the co,,im not leaving jahs house because of imperfect humans or favoritism ect i. Love my brothers and sisters. The organization and everything about my worship ,,be humble and serve jah with great gratitude, joy ect stop focusing on imperfect men

The reason my parents had come to be JW's is that they had asked questions in which had been answered to their satisfaction. I'm a question asker as well and just as yourself, mine come from the heart to seek understanding and clarification, it certainly does NOT mean that I oppose in any manner, having legitimate questions should NOT ruffle any feathers, it should only cause the seeking of answers!

Jesus never treated anyone the way these elders are treating him and jesus never said you need to follow these steps to come back to the congregation and jesus never said i wont answer your questions because they are apostate questions . Leaving the organization is not leaving God its leaving a false man made organization. Jesus never spoke of an organization and He spoke the term jehovahs organization . They are not taught by jesus and jehovah . They are taught by men

That’s why I left. I asked two elders to show me from the Bible where it says we shouldn’t have sex before marriage. They showed me. Then I asked for them to show me in the Bible that Jehovah, Jesus, & The Holy Spirit are not a Trinity. They showed me some scriptures. Then I asked about 1914 and could they show me from the Bible that the faithful and discreet slave refers to the Governing Body. Then I was shut down and accused of apostasy. Smh

I can't understand why you would want back into that organization except for your family. Even then. Get saved and ask the Holy Spirit to come into your life and He will help you get your kids back. I don't know what you know about Jesus but He is standing waiting on your asking Him for help. There is so much wrong with this organization, that you, in order to be saved, need to go to Jesus, who is God in the flesh. Not a reincarnation of Michael the Archangel. Jesus is God and you must understand that. If you're not familiar with the Holy Spirit, He will help you straighten this mess out. Hell is real, Heaven is real, Jesus is real and he died for your sins on the cross, not a wooden stake. JW's that I know don't even talk like they are interested in going to heaven. You can. The 144,000 that Revelation talks about are Jews, not JW's. It's really sad about this cult.

They love to use that term. The Governing Body are imperfect men. That's an excuse to allow them to do what they are doing, instead of challenge them on truths. They and their printed materials and changed ever so often. Their so called truth. When will these people wake up.

three true answers for 1914 that watchtower doesnt give nor cares; 5 evidences for 607bc as true that WT doesnt care; joining UN is wrong, but as God's kingdom a nation joining the United Nations not a mere religion where is the land given JWs in 1948 while Jewish religion is given land. i have answers for your posted questions. But you want to force a meet with your Elders not with someone who has answers.

if you mean he got his list from Lloyd Evans then i hear your point, but even Lloyd Evans blocks you when you show him you have answers to those questions that WT ignores or doesnt want the defence the way our true God Jehovah wants a proper defemce to the one taunting him. It has awlways confused me why watctower doesnt want to worship jehovah but wants to worship many lies and tag it as Jehovah. They still have so many lies that are from Christendom (many about penis and about Nimrod; but science lies too like solstice). Unless you are going to start your own religion and translate the Bible for yourself and print your own pamphlets and do all of the necessary things to start a religion and become one of the over 4,000 religions in the world. You should pick the one the appears to you to be most following the Bible. The Apostles who were with Jesus and personally taught by him still had questions and didn’t understand everything perfectly and that’s ok. That’s why faith is important.
