I absolutely LOVED Terry’s commentary over the years. Great player yes but his commentary of the game in the late 90’s - early 00’s was a joy to listen to. Absolute class act and a true great in every sense of the word. R.I.P legend!

I Think He was Drinking Coke out of that Pint Jug from the Looks of it, if I'm not Mistaken. A Time when Life was Much more Simplier and Enjoyable. Loved the Vintage Camera Footage especially the Commentary, So much Better in those Days. RIP.

😂My hero was Alex Higgins and so Terry would sometimes cause me great disappointment! 😊 I'm sad to hear of his death at 77; heroes should always reach 80 at least. My father liked his style of play and would often joked that he looked like a sheep! I'd never have thought this by myself but, once said, I agreed a little with dad! RIP Terry; give my Regards to Ray!

I think a good way to settle games like this is to keep the scores as they are and re-rack only the remaining reds.

What a break that was some of the long pots he was getting where outstanding and didnt touch the sides straight in the middle , and during the beeb coverage of the next masters wich is only around 6 weeks from now they should show this break.

Snooker is one of those sports that is made to look so easy to play ?? What could be so difficult about it ?? But it reminds me of Golf. Those who play it well make it look so easy, but when you try it for yourself, you find out quickly how difficult it can be. For sure I was never born to be any good to play Snooker even as simply as it is made to look.

Lot's of different characters in the game back then, The Grinder, Steady Eddie, Big Bill Wurbenick ,The Count, Steve Boring but could be interesting Davis!!! Oh and how could we forget Mr John Virgo. Mr Davis set a new standard back then, very professional, game's were more serious and less entertaining for the casual viewer. And he was very dominant in that sport.
