I have caught many bass & pollock using a 4” red gill and similar, but instead of a bombarder float I use a half oz barrel lead around a rod length from the lure and it’s works exactly the same way, but casts further.
@bassmansbountyfishing2 күн бұрын
Yes old school pollock method with a fresh dead eel ahhh those were the days sir! And red gills FAST RETRIEVE IN FEAR OFF ROCKS 🪨🤣👍
@happyguy54142 күн бұрын
@@bassmansbountyfishing yes I caught small pollock from Llandudno & Caernarfon piers using the barrel lead method using a very small redgill. I have also caught school bass casting into the surf of the Llyn Peninsula using the same technique. Sometimes it can be deadly. I’ve also caught school bass using the bombada method, but I’m tied between the two of which catches most fish 🤷♂ Anyway your vid has got me itching to get back out there 👍🏻😹

Stayed in the holiday park there in July everyone that week fishing didn’t catch much quiet sad really for such a nice beach, but if you stand on the hill and look out with binoculars you will see it’s all netted all the way along the beach for about half a mile 300 yards out as you can see the small flags every hundred yards Get rid of them and the beach will be alive again , great video though thanks
