The conditions were against the new rod, lot of weed after the storm. It looks nicely portable for estuaries. I have no idea where you were mate but the video is always my favourite watch of the evening..and i got netflix😂

Yes the schoolie bass and yes the pop-ups (just ordered some from you), maybe a nice fat flounder next time, i have a question for you do you think the Blackrock Specialist Allrounder 11ft 1-25lb TC sport action would be ok for squidding on chesil beach, cheers Paul.

Good effort, did your best to christen the rods maybe next time. The 8 footer looked a bit fragile for the estuary with weed pushing through.

Great video as always. I must say though that an 8 foot four piece rod is a bit of a joke for estuary flounder fishing.

@ I use 1.25lb mullet rods 12ft for flounder, the same action, the same result when you get wiped out with weed no difference whatsoever my friend, use bass rods 3lb exactly the same result wiped out by weed have to wind in 🤣🤣 Great video but..
