Final rise must have listened. I just got a new vest with new bottles and the lid is just like the Gatorade bottle so it won't get chomped and close.

Hahaha. Watch your mouth old man. Of the 10 new shotguns we’ve tested in the last couple years, this is the only one that had no case. Cases, that’s how they come.

I ordered one in this size: Ranger / Blaze / 37"-43" (LG) / Over 20". I'm 6' 2", and run between 205-215 depending on the time of year. The full review will be coming out in April. Looking forward to hearing your thoughts on the overall layout, usability, and functionality from your experience. I have a pretty solid picture of my likes and dislikes at this point.

Yep, my original pair is showing some wear but still waterproof. Tough to find better performance from this kind of weight.

Buy magnets with a metal base and some velcro and you can convert the pockets to magnetic closure extremely cheap. It's also easy to convert back when needed.

Yeah, we can always mod vests to improve, but we’re always interested in who gets it right out of the box. Most of these vests have gotten expensive, so spending more money to make them better isn’t ideal.

I picked up one of these for my wife after her shoulder surgery. BUT Two months ago the men and boys from church had a clay shooting day. One of the young boys used it all day. After just a bit of coaching on timing he was nailing clays. At the end of the day competition he came in fifth out of about 35. It was great to see. It is also the first HD shotty in the house with 000 buck. Expensive to shoot unless you invest in some reloading equipment.

I purchased the vest this year, and I really like it. I also like another vest from Chief Upland. I liked the lightweight aspect of the Final Rise vest and have worn it several times. It is a little more comfortable than the Chief Upland. The Chief Upland has more storage options, which is a plus. My son wears the Chief Upland vest now that I got this one. I also like the extra water bottle holder on the Final Rise. Both vests are very configurable. Proper fit is key on both vests. On the Final Rise, getting the game bag sitting on the small part of my back made a big difference. I have hunted game birds for over 45 years and am so glad we have these options now.

You did exactly with the Leatherman what I wanted to see, which is whether it could cut a cable from a snare or not. Right now I carry both tools, a knock off leatherman (can't cut a cable) and a cable cutter, I'd like to reduce the weight as well and just one less tool in my vest. Thanks for doing that.

Yessir. I’ve been looking for same which is why I bought this tool. I’ve got some predator snares that I bought to test the last tool, gotta find them for the final authentication (the previous tool I tried, failed miserable on them, actually bent the tool). I think this sucker makes it through.

Looks very nice! I had welded a steel loft at my last house which we sold. I am torn on building one out of wood or steel but can't find the materials in the area we moved to. My goal is a 16 x 8 x 7' tall unit with three compartments. We had a smaller version and the birds outgrew it.

Almost looks like a Russian made gun. They’re sloppy but will generally work. Unfortunately my silver reserve has misfired so many times…as in the firing pin doesn’t even try to fire she shell. Even after sending back for repair. Buttstock also cracked near the trigger guard. Let’s be honest here. The silver reserve is one of the worst ; or maybe the worst double barrel shotguns that have ever been offered at their msrp
