Is there a way to just snap to the beginning or end of a region without playing the region? I move many stems around and need to line them up with a click track. Also when editing out sections of songs I need to snap many regions to the back of others. In Pro Tools this was easy but I can't figure it out in Logic Pro. Thanks.

Im trying to change the pitch by half steps or 0.50, how do i do this? It looks like it only offers full steps in whole numbers. I have logic pro 11.0.1
@MTTC11 күн бұрын
You can 100% adjust the pitch by half steps up or down. In the region inspector on the left where it says transpose just below that you should see Fine Tuning click and drag up or down to tune by cents. 😀

This was a outstanding suggestion.. Great info too man.. that plugin link is ill, I didn't know you could do that, maybe I did and didn't know how to do it.. Thanks man.. WHUTTTT!!! The groove track is mad slick.. Man, I apologize, I haven't been watching cause I don't have 11 yet.. Ugh.. I want a M1 too, that's the new way to go with Mac so Im latching on to that.. First.. This was great stuff.. I now you were showing things you can do in 10 but your new videos, I can't have Logic open and do what you're doing if I have the plugins.. lol.. Word up, you're one of my favs.. Thanks D..

JT!!! So good to hear from you again my bro. Glad the video was useful too. I'm definitely going to be putting out more videos that will be useful to producers on both Logic 10 and 11 as I know that it will take some time for more people to migrate over. So keep a look out for more in that vein. Anyway great hearing from you. Be well brother 🙏🏾

I’ll try that. I’ve been having zero problems with my new Mac Mini 2, but then all the sudden it started. Last time this happened was on my old iMac. I’ll try it and let you know if that fixed it.

Cool 👍🏾. Hope you are able to resolve the issue Don 🙂
@donjohnsmusic311620 күн бұрын
@@MTTC OK, changed it to 256 and it fixed it, but then as more tracks started playing, it started again. So then I changed to 512 and so far so good. Glad there are folks out there way smarter than me! I just want to work on music! Sometimes I miss the day of simpler music creation!
@DerrickSchneider21 күн бұрын
One thing to keep in mind is you could just put a -18db gain plugin on the master bus / mix bus and that should increase the headroom even tho your individual channels are going over +db it’s technically not clipping and you should have plenty of headroom if you bus things out properly and use gain plugins on the buses to compensate!

Discovered the jump to transient shortcut last night doing drum sample - saves sooo much time when combined with midi regions. You can jump to a transient on one track, go to your midi track and place a note anywhere you want, and then press semicolon to move it to the playhead!

Perfect 👌🏾. Yeah this feature is a must for anyone serious about audio editing in Logic. Cheers 👍🏾

Hello is there a mics positions possibilities in Drummer?
@MTTC24 күн бұрын
Unfortunately you are not able to reposition the drum mics with Logic Drummer 🥁 which you can do in some other drum plugins. Despite this I believe the fixed mic positions do give you an awesome sound all the same

Well as long as you have the individual tracks , but if you just have the completed audio wav file and want the notes to the individual parts, that's a problem.
@MTTC26 күн бұрын
Yes you are right but in some cases Melodyne allows you to delve into a 2 track stereo mix audio file and correct specific notes for specific instruments. Only possible when using the premium version of the software.

If the little tag at the top is red then yes you would be clipping but if your fader lights are hitting orange or hitting red your not clipping
