Be warned this shite! I don't even believe it's a true transfer. If you watch Scott's introduction to "Alien" you can see the VHS tracking mark at the bottom The audio is not home theatre on "Alien". The sound on the DVD "Quadrilogy" is far superior. It you can lay your hands on a copy,take it. Whoever produced the Blu-ray copy should be sued!

I paid 15 bucks for this... It was slightly different tho. Just the cardboard with 4 normal blu ray boxes in it. But cool nontheless.

Are subtitles included in the Blu-Rays? Blu-ray.com says subtitles arent included in this release but are in the UK release, which is strange.

I have this release. it wasnt a bad release. the live trailers was garbage but you can turn those off. but def get the shout factory blu ray.

Josh Hale did the shrink wrap have the digital code sticker on it? I found it at my local Walmart but it only has a sticker for the metal print not for digital codes

Can I get copy of the bonus DVD? I already bought a similar Bluray version from amazon, but I'am so disapointed after unboxed it because it contains only 1 movie bluray disc, there is no bonus material DVD at all. I'm very angry about why the seller put the ED limited edition cover on amazon selling while they shipped/sold the customer just a normal bluray version with only 1 bluray disc, then I can't even return the product.. :(

This was purchased when it was a Best Buy exclusive. It may have been rereleased, I'm not sure. I might've even seen it at WalMart a couple of weeks ago.

True. ALIEN didn't have all the deleted scenes reinstated, plus there some scenes that were omitted from the theatrical version. Guess that's why Ridley Scott calls it a director's cut and not a special edition.
