why would you go to Panama for medical tourism if it's the same prices as the USA unlike Kuala Lampur, Thailand and others that are a LOT less expensive and their hospitals are incredible?

Panama's use of the US dollar puts me as a Canadian at a disadvantage due to the CAD to USD exchange rate, something I'd have to really think about and budget an extra 40% for.

I think the reason for the difference is she focused on the higher end of rentals than the middle area. I found a really nice one bedroom with ocean view for 850.00 a month.

The inflation from the money printers has gone everywhere. I paid $1600 for a full 3 bed house in Las Vegas in 2019, now in Boquette you get a 1 bedroom apparently. Let the banks fail.

0:08 Actually there are specific rules what makes a country first world or third world. These terms are from the cold war (three-world model is something to look up) and first world is the NATO countries, second world is the Warsaw Pact countries and third world is the non-aligned countries. And yes, this makes Switzerland a third world country 🙂 And yes, I acknowledge that least developed, developing and developed country are not as "sexy"

Panama does not support Dual Citizenship. The government will make you sign documents and inform your previous country that you are voluntarily relinquishing your citizenship to take up Panamanian citizenship.

The biggest question I have is that after purchase will I be able to stay in the apartment or any other real estate purchase for an extended time or is the time limited to three months? I'm not enamored with apartment living. A smallish two bedroom house will be to my liking.

Being a pedestrian ( uneven, cracked sidewalks and drivers having the right way) is sometimes more dangerous than actual crime in most areas of Panama City.

Actually, promoting Costa del Este in English makes perfect sense. English is the most widely spoken language in the world, and using it can attract more tourists and investors, which is beneficial. The United States is the most influential country in human history, with the best people, the best military, and the best infrastructure. Panama is essentially a puppet government and a 52nd state of the U.S., All what Panama has is thank to the US so you should be grateful that they're promoting your little piece of land in the most spoken language on the planet. It's time to recognize the reality and appreciate the advantages this brings.
