Just because there is more gambling than ever in sports or in baseball now, that still doesn't mean the sport itself is promoting the betting on their game by players and managers. If they let Pete in the Hall, that would certainly show they are changing their stance and that it's not as bad as it was. He should never be let in. Just watch interview after interview year after year with Pete and listen to how he talks about baseball (and how passionate he is), and then listen to how he talks about his gambling and how different he is in presenting his case.
