To add further to this, you don't need to pay for your type rating if you are in a cadet pilot program with an airline that will pay for your training. They might bond you to commit for a couple or few years.

India has this weird law for compulsory +12 science background to become a pilot which is not at all mandatory in any other countries. Due to this reason I managed to get my CPL license from Indonesia since I was from a commerce background and as of now I am currently piloting an A350 wide body aircraft. Indian students who are from non science background please do not loose hope. You can still become a pilot by going abroad.

wow. glad to know this. pinning this 🤌🏼
@user-vg3jz5yg1d3 күн бұрын
But I think it is important to have the basic knowledge of +12 science especially physics as you are flying a machine which is mainly working on the principles of the physics which requires the pilot to mentally calculate the parameters while taking off and landing. Although one can learn these things later too but +12 science teaches that in a very early stage. So I think this rule shouldn't be changed as if you are really interested in aviation then you probably be interested in science (physics) too. Those who couldn't opt for science and really has the passion of becoming a pilot then they should work hard with their knowledge in physics and can opt that from different nation as you did.

One question: what is the compensation airline gives to pilot ,if one becomes permanently unfit unfortunately? Is it handsome enough to run a family for sometime? It's big concern

30:16 again wrong after busiest I have seen 28k ft as well but for most FULL ROUTE on a narrow body jet, it is what he said. For short routes it is 20k-25kft for narrow bodies. Turbo props don't cross 20k most of the time and stay at FL160. Wide bodies especially A350 and DL787 go beyond FL400 upto FL450. A350 between DEL-BLR mostly is FL430. So much shallow inaccurate information in the name of podcasts nowadays.

I understand you’re very passionate about aviation, and I’m glad you found this video and reached here. As I said below your other comment, happy to acknowledge and rectify factual inaccuracies. Do share this information published by a credible source. If we may have gone wrong somewhere - I’ll be apologetic and I regret we did. Hope you’ll side with me and agree that our intent was good- and our hearts are in the right place as we try to help people learn more about aviation and being future pilots.

Hey, appreciate the time you’ve taken to fact check all we’ve said. Would be happy to make a consolidated note for corrections in the description of my video - just that Wikipedia is not a platform that should be used as a source of true information. (Given the data is publicly collated and edited) Do send across the links to more credible sources of data - happy to acknowledge factual inaccuracies :)

@discoverwsinghАй бұрын
Absolutely. As per DGCA, there’s no age limit. Glad you asked! Proud of your thought process already.

But what are the chances of getting a job in an airline after training completion given the age factor is it advisable to start now.🤔
