What i will say is im sadden that Sr Jeanine has proved hearesy on the interpretation of St Augustine's writing that a married couple commits sin if their sexual act does not result in procreation. She knows that it is a lie and a manipulation of the teachings to suit her narative. Im also skeptical about her claims on "scientific studies" confirming that people are born that way. There is an issue with this victim first mentality. Some people in the literature have come forward interviewing that their early intimate experiences were beneficial and a good thing for them. Not a huge amount of people by percentage. Maybe 6%. These people are not listened and often left out of the larger conversation. Even eyes role and in interview the interviewer keeps pushing them to feel a certain way. I suspect quite a few more have not come forward to avoid this hyperbolic knee jerk response to centuries of complete silence. They need to be included in the conversation so we can parse out the subtle issues and gradations of what our society may broach as proper or not proper. This may be one of the most intelligent well spoken individuals on YT that has mentioned these things. And even he starts in with insults against people who deny the unequivocable harm in all cases.

Religious orders having a disposition towards younger people is not so uncommon. Children are far close to a manifestation of the spirit than adults often times. They have porcelain skin, better bodily symmetry, a certain grace of movement. We can see this up and down the Catholic orders over the years, the Hindu temples, and Islam has not issue with it with young marriages. Mary was married off at 12-13yo to a much older man. Muhammad and Aiysha. Often times in religious types the Anima (Jungian term) is less formed and projects more naturally on pure things. A few years ago, I received a payment from the Archdiocese of Philadelphia if I promise not to sue the Archdiocese in thr future.Recently I found out the Archdiocese had published a list of credibly accused deceased priests. The name of my abuser was not on the list.

There's nothing stopping women spreading the Gospel and there are plenty of roles for them in the Church but the priesthood was ordained by God both in the Old and New Testament ro he for men only "in personae Christi" and it will never change.

Not so simple.

Most of these people are elderly, young Catholics aren't interested in woman priests etc and most new priests are conservative. They are a product of their generation.

Disgusting and sickening to the stomach

As a Catholic, I have no issues, frankly none of us do, with experts, citizens, and victims bringing forth these issues and crimes, and discussing the errors and horrors committed, as well as bringing punitive damages to those involved as well as corrective recommendations, The only issue I have with all of this, is that a lot of people want to promote this idea that The Church was complicit and a proponent of these crimes, negating that The Church was following the guidelines established by the psychological experts, at the time, believing (or at least claiming) this was a curable problem. These narratives, also, minimize the fact that it was the Church that initiated it's own internal investigaton and brought the issues and horrors to light and to their respective authorities and not that this was an external investigation or exposé. Then there is those cases where, though they were clergy this was done outside the church and in remote locations unrelated to the Church, yet because they were clergy, the Church took absorbed it as if it were an issue in The Church. Not like The Church is an institution that promoted or revered sexual abuse of any kind, like those individuals and institutions that promote child mutilations and abortions.
