Это чудо! Жаль, что мало комментариев. Народ слушает всякую ерунду. И жизнь проходит мимо такой красоты.

Utterly average in every way, there are hundreds of students across america who play way better than this guy.

This is a nice solo. I enjoy listening to the great style it’s played with by Dr. Frey.

Awesome. I attended a masterclass by Adam Frey this March at the Music for All National Concert Band Festival in Indianapolis. I also played Fnugg Red as a duet with one of my tubist friends my senior year. Great piece, great guys!

Hello I am a band enthusiast and researcher, do you happen to have more recordings of your band from this era? I’m curious to hear what you guys played!!
@davidbjornstad7759 Жыл бұрын
Yes, I do. All of our dress rehearsals and concerts were recorded, and at the end of the year the director selected four or so items that he especially liked and put them on an LP. I have the LPs for the three years that I was in the band, and I have digitized them.

Dr. louder, aka Earl the Pearl. He was beloved by all serious low brass musicians and all of us lucky enough to attend Morehead State University studying music during his tenure. We were blessed by all the amazing faculty, but none better than Dr. Earl Louder. Rest in oeace Dr. Louder!❤️

I'm not generally a fan of this style of music but i watched and listened to it all the way through and ACTUALLY enjoyed it , so many facets to the piece and i love the way James gets right down to those low notes and all the other wee sounds he produces ...... quite something to listen too indeed.
@TheSproutarian Жыл бұрын
I feel the same and listened to it all too. Lets hope he doesn't make a habit of it though, a nice melody or concerto would be nicer.

I heard Glenn play this in person and we were in awe. The control, speed, and tone were amazing! Keith Teepen was the accompanist. I’m glad David recorded this recital.

Bravo! Wonderful playing! Glad to come across this as been looking at it myself. A nice contrast is the Sheona White (Eb Horn) recording, which is noticeably slower, but no poorer for it.

The tempo is WAY too fast. There's no space for the piece to breathe and the musicians are clearly struggling with such fast double and triple tonguing making it sloppy. The conductor needs to slow down!

iplayeuphonium.com/ Brian was my private teacher for a few years in high school when he was still earning his Masters in Trombone and Euphonium performance at ASU before he became a teacher. He studied with Sam Pilafian and Patrick Sheridan. He is an Adam's Performing Artist. If my children wish to pay Trombone or Euphonium anytime in their lives, I will beg Brian to give them lessons. haha.

Today I got to hear him perform a recital at IETF this year. It had to be one of the most magical performances I’ve ever heard in my whole life. He included this recording in it. I have never been more proud to be a euphonium player in my whole life. Today has to be one of the best days in my whole life!!!
