I’m assuming that’s an aftermarket IAC valve? I’ve tried many of those in my 2000 Durango 5.2 and none of them have held steady. I ended up getting an OEM IAC valve from a junkyard and it’s performed much better.

Why are you always saying quarts? 1 bootle of Honda's power steering is not a quart, it is 12 oz only.

Thanks for making this tutorial. I just went through this issue myself. My idle would bounce around a lot, and had a stumble during warm up. Basically did what you did and now runs much better!

Your video was exactly what I needed for my 96 ZJ. Thank you, though I'm looking at this and seriously they stuffed that motor in like they did on the 5.4 triton for my F1fiddy. I have more room to the back of the throttle body on my ZJ though I guess my radiator is a joke that extra room. But thanks for the info I needed!!!

So when you are filling it up do you leave the cap off the radiotor for 20 min or when the radiator fans kick in twice whatever 1st. And how do you know when it's full?

This was a great video. I just put a spacer on my 01 ram 360 mag. This truck I have brought back to life literally. I know it very well for a shade tree mech. During the spacer install I noticed while on my prep stage of the manifold surface looking inside there was some burnt and newer wet looking oil down there. This indicates the plenum gasket on the bottom side of the manifold is letting oil suck up there. My hughes kit that i ordered just arrived today. I will update on how that went if anyone is reading. Also to note, my truck runs very well even with this issue, like a sewing machine. I had noticed some oil consumption but it doesn't leak a drop of any fluid. Also note. Mopar PCV is the best for these trucks.

need to reset the iac to the computer, that is causing the high idle. . Disconnect the negative battery cable and press on the break pedal to clear any residual electricty. Hook back up and you should have a reset and good idle! 500 rpm or so.

No. Flashing CEL means means you have unburnt fuel igniting in your exhaust. Check your plugs.

Pro tip - don't ever use the petcock to drain because if that ever break, you will have to replace the radiator. Drain by loosing the clamp on your lower radiator hose and remove it from the radiator. It is a little messier but avoids any complication with a stuck or broken petcock valve. They do not sell replacement petcocks.

Well that certainly feels scammish. Guess it's off to the junkyard to fetch some petcocks.

Thank you for this video! Just tried this one Kauai coffee pod (works in all k-cup. Nope) and got it to work! Just used a nice to cut the foil off a used Keurig pod and put atop the Kauai pod and presto, I was able to enjoy a great cup of coffee with my Keurig. ..could swear I’ve used this brand in my Keurig before without having to do that, but now I know how to get around the problem when it does arise!
