I was told that the vsa comes on by design on po301 and po401.. On 8th generation. My coupe EX-L V6, Had PO401 code with causes misfire (EGR problems) fixed EGR problems and changed plugs on the next day the VSA lights went out.. Just wondering why you split the intake manifold it will come out as one piece.. But great job.... And I hate removing COILS, just for the same reason "OIL", I've been lucky so far 163.000 and tubes still dry... But as your teardown, I would of replaced pvc and cleaned all all EGR passages, and cleaned EGR. NOTHING HURTS more than the nasty PO401 code

Mike Bamberger great question, when I did this job I went into it blind as a bat...I may or may not have said that in the video. I wasn't aware that it came came out as one unit until after the fact and I seen another video of a guy doing the same job on an Odyssey. As far as the pvc goes, I changed that out not to long before this project. I didn't think to look at the egr. But either way to this day I haven't had this issue again. Only thing i got now is my traction control, abs, and emergency brake light are all on and stay on. When it's cold outside they are off until the car warms up and if it's warm out they come on right away. My scanner says something with the abs module. I checked the fuses for it and wheel speed sensors in case it popped a false code and everything was good.

BuddyLe3 any way enjoy your videos, keep up the good job. Hope you aren't flooded out by the river, I'm by the Ohio River also but 3 miles from the bank.. Roads closed everywhere..

We aren't flooded out yet. I live in Cannelton Indiana and I'm about half a mile or so from the flood wall and when I came home from work they were preparing to put the big flood wall door in to seal it off. It's not raining currently as I type this but they are calling for a 100 percent chance for tonight, Friday and Saturday.

Hey buddy, did you ever get to fix all the lights on your dashboard? Ive had that same problem for years and can't figure out what's wrong

Hey did the oil consumption problem stop? I also have a cylinder misfire and loss oil like crazy!
@BuddyLe383866 жыл бұрын
For me it did after I swapped out new plugs, packs and spark plug tube seals. I would do a compression and leak down test first to make sure there is nothing wrong with the rings first. I'd hate to see you buy parts and tear a bunch of shit apart just for it not to be the actual problem.

BuddyLe3 hey I figured out the problem, cylinders 3 and 6 has spark plugs that looked absolutely disgusting, where black and it’s probably because of Honda shitty design, I replaced them and now it purrs and just runs perfectly fine, thanks for all your videos they are honestly the best!

0WHISKEYTHROTTLE0 hey thanks for your kind words and for watching and glad I could help. You are one of the few that give me good remarks on my videos. Most people troll me and tell me i don't know what the fuck I'm doing. I never claimed to be a pro, I'm just a guy trying to get stuff done and show people you don't have to go to the dealership. I honestly got tired of seeing nothing but exhaust clip videos and no maintenance videos so I wanted to be that guy. Thanks again.
