Could you paint the reflectix?
@travelingwithminnievangogh7 күн бұрын
I have seen some videos where people have painted the reflectix. I don't know how well that would last. I chose to cover the reflectix with fabric since using the spray adhesive was so easy. Thank you for watching. I hope you found the video helpful.
@terrydavis52237 күн бұрын
What adhesive did you use to adhere your fabric to the reflectix?
@travelingwithminnievangogh7 күн бұрын
I think it was a spray adhesive I bought at JoAnn's Fabrics

i think the mountains you are looking at from left to right are Saddleback, Little Saddleback, Farmer, and Mt. Abraham, the peak way off to the right is Sugarloaf Ski area......i have to suffer through looking at these everyday too.. i can see them from 30 miles away though, enjoy your trips and endeavors...

You know your mountains of Maine for sure. I live in the foothills of Pennsylvania and just 30 miles from me in Ohio the land is flat and boring. I recently went to Forest County, PA where the mountains get bigger but to see mountains this size I need to go further east. Maine did not disappoint at all with the different terrains and I will return for more. Thank you so much for watching.

In my opinion the waves were giving you a nice walleye chop. Hard to tell from video, but given the lack of steady whitecaps I'd say you had 3 fts tops.... but I could be wrong. Relative to missing fish, ensure you have your drag set correctly and slow down on your retrieve. My advice would be to hold the rod with your left hand about a foot up from the reel. Keep your tip up and do a steady retrieve, when the fish see's the boat and takes a dive - do not reel in, let the drag do its job. But it looks as though you had fun, that is all that counts....

Thank you for watching. I had a ball. It had been almost 5 years since I was out on the lake and I definitely lost my touch. I need to relearn. Our charter boat captain was great and had it not been for the fact that my friend was getting seasick, I'm sure I would have gotten my technique back. Here's to trying again in May. Hopefully with calmer seas.

Welcome to Van Life! I love to camp in my minivan. I know several people who live full time in theirs and love it. Personally, I am good for about a month before I feel the need to be back in my sticks-n-bricks, but then it's not long and I feel the need to be in my tiny home on wheels and off for another adventure.

My grandpa made a box that held all.grandma's Camping kitchen "stuff". He called it a chunk box. The cover dropped down for use as a table. It had a 2x2 used as a leg to support the table, however I rarely used it. But I did put the camp stove on a table outside of our vehicle It is still in use by his great geat grandchild today. Your paining is beautiful. I like your cooler on top and your cubby holes. Great idea.
