That is so awful. It's almost like you have to make a Sega CD Pickup Only to avoid damage in shipping. These things don't even like going upside down, let alone being bounced around for miles.

ooo wow, would be cool to reverse engineer the adapter and game boards. The base is a standard Amiga 500. The Kickstart ROM on this thing would be interesting. Can you dump it and put it somewhere? Edit: nope, never mind, it's a normal Kickstart ROM (freakyly V1.3 in such an old machine), BUT it seems to be disabled. I can't quite see whether the wire only goes to pin 12 (/OE) , or whether it is bridged to pin 11, which is GND...

hello , nice video . I think i have the same problem but with a neo geo cd front loader, it is the exact same drive. Can you , please , explain me how did you managed to take the tray appart ? I wish i could access those gears under it but i don't understand how to do it without destroying it .

ok got it ... hahah . But it is still not fixed. I am where you realize you have 2 broken pieces of plastic. I had the same issue but only one side was broken . But i will watch the rest very seriously , i think your video will be ( finaly ) my solution .This is so hard to find info about neo geo cd1. Until i realize it is the same drive as a mega cd...

Nice fix! Mostly paying for the convenience of 'plug and play'. There is also a custom wiring harness to fit your model of pinball machine. I'm surprised Stern doesn't offer these in their premiums for an extra $250.

Hi . I have 2 gt fore 2005 green boards one is working but I cannot change the clubs /enter my initials/ change courses. The other one I just bought off of eBay and one of the green lights is steady green and won’t boot . It just says no display.I was wondering if I could send you the boards to fix.

I just had a customer bring me a Golder Tee 2005 board using the same CF Card.. DEAD card.. i had to replace it. Seams the creator of these kits used sub par cf cards.

It's a logic probe, in short it tells you the state of logic HI,Low whether it's working or not

My Technics SA-AX920 receiver emitted a very POP from each speaker cabinets and immediately shut off. Once cooled the unit returned to serviceability until again "POP" and unit shut down. Talking with some engineer friends they tell me the outboard cooling fan has stopped working causing the output transistor boards to over-heat and hence the loud "POP" sound and immediate shut-down. I really like the sound of this amplifier driving two Kierksaeter X-79 floor standing speakers I watch being built at their plant in Germany. I would appreciate recommendations for repair to serviceability of the Technics.

There's tabs holding it together, you have to pry it apart,you can use a dull driver like flathead or a thick guitar pick

I currently have have a 2005 GT fore and its not working. I checked the power supply and im getting 5.1v and 12.2v I get no flash at all on status 1 light. I get absolutely nothing on the monitor, the monitor does light up. Can you help me with it? Thanks

I often wonder how so many of these cps2 cases get so messed up, like heavy discoloration, bits missing or the case is just cracked and destroyed to hell, i see this a lot on ebay when buying these boards.

Strangely, old aging Sega CDs are the only thing that run Sonic CD seamlessly. They never got the emulation right. I don't know wtf we're gonna do in 20 years when they're all gone.

These are really, really not meant to travel or get moved around. They're super fragile. I bought one many years ago online that didn't read discs. Guy said it just sat in his closet. I was prepared to replace optical drive but the power cable to the motor had just worked itself out.
